Henry immediately shook his head, dismissing the idea. "It's not Irene. I'm certain of that," he stated firmly.

"Why are you so sure?" Clifford pressed, though he understood where he was coming from.

"When we were there, I watched her closely," Henry explained. "She wasn't on her phone, neither was she sneaking texts or calls like someone coordinating an ambush. And quite frankly, Irene simply isn't cunning or smart enough to indulge in this kind of act. Let's not misguide ourselves," he said.

Henry leaned back in his chair, lost in thought. After a moment, he continued, "I know she seems the obvious suspect since she was with me in the restaurant. But we can't assume guilt just because someone was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Who knows, this might just be what Simon wants us to think; directing our suspicions at out friends."
