Chapter 29: Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palm

The Three Waves Palm is simple. Li Xin understood it and he smiles

But simple did not mean weak.

The important thing to know about the Three Waves Palm is that the three waves of energy must not be same.

The energy come from the body, and when it is unleashed it must have different kind of waves of power when it is being executed.

There are no useful or useless moves in martial arts. There are only people who can’t use them properly.

This skill could shine if the one using it could understand the intricacies of using this force. At times strong, at times weak, pushing forward, showing weakness, forcing the enemy to also use unconventional means.

It is called Three Waves Palm but it is not three strokes of palm attack. Instead, the waves refer to the energy.

When thrusting the palm forward, when unleashing the force, if the enemy is preparing to accept powerful strike, then use weak force, the force of the enemy would rebound to themselves.

But if the enemy is thinking that you would use weak force, then use strong force. This is akin to the Art of War.

Even though this is considered basic skills, but any of the basic skills that is given by the system is not simple at all.

The palm moves naturally, and while it could be used to attack, it also could be used to defend, three layer waves of energy to dull the impact.

The variation of the energy that need to be used is different. One that practices this technique must have good grasp of the situation in battle to use it skillfully.

‘The Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palm!’ he thought to himself. Even though, he had drained about 1000 Ding which is equal to 1 gold, he does not seem to care.

After all, his system is not the merchant system but a martial art system. And knowing that there is a war that is about to come to the Central Plain, what use is money?

‘I was right’ He had a theory that any supreme martial skill had an asterisk to denote that it is a supreme martial art skill.

Even if he did not learn any other skills, armed with this palm skill alone, he could probably move unhindered.
