Chapter 31: Practicing the Strokes

He looks like a diving eagle, his palms outstretched and the sound of dragon roaring could be heard

‘I have a doubt’ he said to himself.

He closes his eyes, takes a deep breath but even though he seems calms, his inner energy seems to be boiling and then he suddenly makes a move and the wind roars beside him

He then suddenly uses the first stroke The Dragon is Seen in the Fields, the sound of roaring echoes all around, the palm thrusted forward, the force flew straight.

His palm in in the direction of one of the tree.

In front of the tree is the wooden fence that Li Xin had built. The moment that palm un leashes a force toward that direction, the fence split into two.

In that brief second, it bended, breaks and splits into two, flying in two separate directions.

The tree behind the fence on the other hand exploded like someone had applied great pressure on the middle of the tree trunk.

The area in the middle of that tree exploded, the top falls down, the force continues forward, causing the dry leave sin the ground near the tree to spirals forward and there is a vague outline shape of a dragon formed

Li Xin eyes shines as he could feel the energy in his palm, and he could feel that the momentum of his attack is about to dissipate.

The moment it was about to dissipate; Li Xin quickly changes the stance to prepare for the second move.

‘Chain the Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palm and it would be an unstoppable and invincible palm skill’ he thought to himself while smiling

But he also understood that if the strokes of attack are interrupted, then he could not chain the attack and as such, the full power of the Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palm could not be shown.

But it requires a powerful skill to try to stop the stroke of the Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palm but the he remember his own sword skill.

The One Sword.

The Twin Dragon Soaring Sword, is one of the swordplay of the One Sword

The Twin Dragon Soaring Sword is basically just like Zhou Botong Skill of Ambidexterity. A different set of sword skill could be used by two swords for each hand

In actual fights, he could use this skill to simultaneously attack and defend against multiple opponents and is even able to create doppelgänger illusions purely from the blazing speed and confusing movements of two styles used simultaneously.

But, he is sure that if he truly masters the Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palm, his Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palm could probably break the moves of Twin Dragon Soaring Sword.

Right now he had mastered two of the stroke. He of course could not stop there. He looks at the stroke The Swan Descends Gracefully [Beginner rank] and he immediately use another 560 points to raise it to grandmaster rank

His eyes shine brightly and he could feel power rushing all over his body

Information streamed right into his mind and his mind could immediately understand the reason why it is called the Swan Descend Gracefully.

It meant to seize to seize opportunity whenever it may come, in whatever form it may surface as.

His inner energy is still very much drained so he did not use any of his inner energy but he performed all three strokes and he could feel the smoothness of transition between each strokes and Li Xian knew he had found the method.

He then slowly and gradually returns to the original stance, put his hand on the side and lower it down from the chest, like some kind of breathing exercise.

When the hand is put down, he felt relaxed and the swelling on is hand and the heat is his body is not as intense as it was before

Li Xin look at his points and sighed.

‘I could use this martial skill points to raise up a lot of things but…haish.’ He thought to himself. Now, that he learned the Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palm he knows how terrifying this palm skill really is.

He could rely on this to survive in Jianghu. But it really is a point devouring skill.

‘Still, if I uses my aptitude to try to master this skill, who knows how many years it would take me unless I am really a genius’

The thing is Li Xin knows that he is not a genius.

Diving into the Abyss.

A dragon which leaps into the abyss is akin to a great person who decides to partake in a course of activity, implying a sense of awe-inspiring presence and suggestively, resulting in great achievement.

Li Xin moves again this time one by one the strokes are executed. Like before he did not use any inner energy.

As such the movement is not as explosive.
