In the chemistry lab, Jenny watched as Alec and Heidi worked together on a project. They were smiling and conversing quietly as they mixed chemicals.

"Wow" she said under her breath, carefully watching them "They make such a great team now, don't they?" She mumbled to no one in particular, then her eyes stayed focused on Alec.

Sometimes, Jenny sees him as a regular guy, living a normal life. But other times, when he acts brave, she sees a superhero who stands up for the weak, even though he was once weak himself.

Jeremy nudged Jenny's ribs "Hey, are you even listening to me at all?"

Jenny refocused on Jeremy, flashing a smile."Yeah, yeah, I am"

Jeremy could tell she was lying. Curious, he traced where her gaze had been and furrowed his brows. "Hey, come on, spill the beans" He looked straight into her eyes "Are you crushing on Alec?"

Jenny burst into laughter, playfully hitting Jeremy's back "Jeremy! What are you even saying? That's ridiculous!"
