Alec rubbed his arm to warm himself up before he sat back on the chair and sighed. Discussion of his subconscious is a topic he has been avoiding, but Jeremy has found a way to bring it up.

"My subconscious," Alec repeated, lowering his gaze to the milkshake on the table.

"Yeah," Jeremy answered.

Anyone who hears about how he got to get Xander would not believe him, heck even he does not believe Xander was real at first.

"Yeah, it's like part of my powers," Alec finally said.

"It was like an inner spirit in me got activated during the lightning. When I woke up, the spirit also woke with me and I became something more powerful with it," Alec explained, hiding the real and full details. He felt that to protect both Xander and his friends, Xander needs to remain a secret.
