No amount of words could explain how Xavier felt as he stepped out of that hell of a room he had thought was heaven. But one thing's for sure, what he was currently feeling was nothing near pleasant or a good feeling.
He felt the most horrible way ever and the only thing he wanted to do was just disappear from this world and never to be seen, that way, his sufferings would end.Yes, that's right, he would disappear from this cruel world and never to be seen again. Living this life was not worth it.He walked around the huge mansion looking for the exit and not being aware of how he was catching so much attention. With anger, rage, pain, regret and so many other emotions blurring half his eye sight, he finally found the exit out of this shitty hell hole and he left the house through the front door. Now all that was left was to finally leave the premises and then look for what proper way to die and leave this world.Xavier was walking, not knowing where he was now but he knew he was heading towards the final exit.'It's fine, this is the house of a rich man, it's always this complicated.' He reassured himself while looking around when out of the blue...BARK!! BARK!! GROWLSThe sound of a barking dog accompanied with loud ferocious growls reached his ears, Xavier stood froze when he realized dogs were barking at him.He looked to his side, where the barking was coming from and that was when he saw three huge Siberian huskies wolf-like dogs running towards him in an inhumane speed. With shock and fear for his life, Xavier wasted no time and took to his heels, running as fast as he legs could carry him. However, he couldn't beat these ferocious monsters that were ten times more faster than he was and soon they caught up to him.And under the bright morning sun, on the clear beautiful grass, Xavier was brutally attacked by three hungry guard dogs.Though he was physically fit man, he still couldn't match three strong dogs and they bit mercilessly at him as he fought and struggled to keep them away from him.But he was getting weak by seconds, the dogs were already bitting hard at him and he was trying as much as he could to keep them away from his face.He then remembered how he got here in the first place. He wasn't sure what happened or how it happened but he could remember having a conversation with Mr Charles when he suddenly felt lightweight and soon he passed out. They must have drugged him in some kind of way and brought him here to be a servant against his own will which was against the law, he would make sure to report these lunatics once he leaves here. However, Xavier was still struggling with the growling dogs and by now he was weak and bloodied. He groaned as he felt pain from the dogs' bite. And almost a minute later, the dogs stopped attacking him and they just sat around him while he laid on the grass facing the sky in pain. The dogs had attacked his legs and hands and thankfully that was all but he was too weak to get up and continue finding his way out.He felt drowsy and his vision was blurry.'Is this it? Is how my life would end?' Xavier asked himself as he could no longer move his muscles an inch."Well this doesn't seem that bad at all." He whispered with a smile. Maybe dying this way was the best and a good thing. It wasn't that bad at all.Xavier was still smiling, hoping and waiting to die when a shadow came into his blurry vision. It was the shadow of a woman staring down at him before she squatted next to him."I told you, didn't I? Once inside, you can't leave unless I say so." Was all Xavier heard before he passed out.It was now dark and late, the Biller's party had ended about an hour ago and the guests had all left.In one of the bedrooms laid a man and a woman sat beside him just staring at his face.Another hour passed before the young man finally woke up. He groaned and hissed from pain and a bad headache.Xavier was still groaning when he noticed the ceiling above him, he was in an unfamiliar place again. He could vividly remember everything that had happened, how those dogs attacked him.Perhaps, was this heaven? Was he already in heaven? That would make sense considering he had died.Death wasn't even as painful as he had thought, it was like a..."You are awake? That's good..." Blair who had been seating beside him for hours and was almost going to fall asleep spoke up when she heard his groans and hisses."I must say, those dogs did you dirty. That's what happens when you go against Mom." Blair said, adjusting her position on the bed to move closer to Xavier."Xavier, right?" She asked and continued, "I'm Blair Biller, also known as BB." She introduced herself and smiled at the interesting reaction from Xavier. This wasn't heaven at all, this was hell. That would mean he never died in the first place, but...Xavier who was in shock tried to seat up on the bed but groaned louder from pain and that was when he noticed he was on bandage. This was real? He wasn't dead? But how? They say one would be aware of death on his deathbed and Xavier knew it too, he knew he wouldn't make it."You seem surprised, I must say you are an interesting man. I'm guessing you are behaving this way because you don't like your position as a lowly servant, that's quite demanding, but I will make you my driver. It's way better than being a servant that cleans and serves, hmmm?"Blair asked, not that she was giving him any choice to pick from. She couldn't get her eyes off his face as she shamelessly admired his features. His dark messy hair and those dark midnight eyes that stared at her in some interesting way. His pale lips looked delectable even when chapped. His nose, they were just the perfect, shape, it was such a pity that he was a servant. And making him her driver wasn't a bad idea either, he looked like someone she could easily control and that was exactly what she was looking for.Not those robotic driver her parents assigned for her that would tell on her every move."Okay, rest well, I'll be taking my leave now and I'll send servants to bring you something to eat, handsome." And with that she left the bedroom.Xavier laid quietly on the bed with his thoughts running a thousand miles, thinking of a way to get out of this mess.Escaping was the only option he could think of and that would take a lot of time to execute, considering how tight the security around here was.It took Xavier almost a week to recover from all the injuries he had sustained from the dog bites and to his surprise, the Biller family were sending doctors to him every once in a while to check up on him. Xavier refused to see any kind intentions behind that.To him, they were just treating his dog bites just so he would be healthy enough to work for them. There was no way the Biller family could be so kind to just treat him, there's got to be a reason and Xavier was sure it was for their own personal benefit and nothing else. And of course, Blair wouldn't stop pestering him to the extent where he became uncomfortable around her. Through out his days of recovering, she would constantly visit, behaving weird and asking him questions that made him almost freak out. She was another bunch of trouble to him and he wanted to avoid her at all cost.Today was Friday, the last day of the week days before the weekend and today was also the very first day of Xavier working for the Billers and
A personal driver? Was this good news or bad news? Xavier wondered to himself while trying to digest this piece of information.Maybe this was good news after all. Being a driver was way better than being a lowly male servant. At least he wouldn't have to clean or serve. Neither would he get to face this annoying family all the time. But it seems someone was against this."What is the meaning of this? What do you mean by personal driver? Do you realize you are giving him a promotion when he hasn't even started working? For someone like him to be promoted to the position of a personal driver, he has to work for it. Don't be ridiculous." Preston ranted as he pointed out, it was clear he was against this sudden promotion, as he'd deemed it."You talk too much and I wasn't asking for your opinion neither do I need your permission. And this is not your father's company where you can control almost everything." Blair fired, not backing down as she stared at Preston's bloodshot with a rather
By the time Xavier drove to the club Blair had directed him to, dusk was already fast approaching and soon night would fall.Though his body and mind were exhausted, he needed to get rid of the exhaustion and stay active for the whole time the ladies would stay clubbing. He found a good spot in the parking lot and parked the car. Without saying a word, he patiently waited for the ladies to step down and he would have the car to himself and would use the opportunity to take a quick nap.Xavier looked at Blair through the rearview mirror and could see the happy smile on her face as she tilted her head to the side to look at the club's entrance through the car's window. She looked super excited as if she had not been to the club for ages. Like a child who had finally gotten the candy, he had so much wanted.Blair could hear the booming sound of music coming from the club and happiness bubbled inside her and it could explode at any time, she just couldn't wait. She turned towards her frien
Xavier in his slightly tipsy state of mind followed the strange man who had Blair in his grasp, he tried as much as he could to meet up but the strange man was still faster. After a while, Xavier saw the man enter a room and his senses were heightened. With a deep frown on his eyebrows, he wondered what the man was up to.Were his intentions pure? Or does he plan to do something bad to Blair?Though Xavier knew he was just a driver and not a guard but Blair was handed over to him, if anything bad happened to her, he would be held accountable for it.Due to how far they've gone, the music from the club had died down and as Xavier looked to his side, passing by many arrays of doors, he wondered if this place was attached to the bar.He soon reached the door he had seen the man enter with Blair in his arms, the door was slightly open. Though it was dim and barely lit, Xavier could see inside the room was pitch dark. And without wasting further time, he pushed the door open and walked in.
Making sure not to wake up Blair, he stood up from the bed completely naked, a frustrated sigh escaped his mouth as he took in the sight of the bedroom and the state he was in.The room was littered with their clothes all around. With a swift movement, Xavier put on his clothes and would leave the room to behave like nothing ever happened. After making sure he looked normal and nothing was out of place, he walked towards the door and just when he was about to open it, the door was forcefully pushed from outside and it almost slammed his face.Xavier stood there like a statue, his eyes wide from shock. His lips moved but no words came out of his mouth.Standing outside the door was Preston, Mrs Edna and three other men and from the look on their faces, Xavier knew they must have found out what happened. Though he wondered how now wasn't the time to worry about how they found out.Preston was the first to step in and Mrs Edna followed right behind him.The moment Preston saw who lay on
SLAP! SLAP!! The sound of a palm landing heavily on Xavier's cheek resonated the whole coffee shop from the counter table, the slap was loud enough to catch the attention of customers who sat around inside the shop. "You fool! You are nothing but a piece of sh*t! How many times have I told you to be attentive to the orders of the customers?" A short potbellied man spat in rage as he vented on Xavier who stood before him behind the counter table. Murmurs and whispers filled the place as the customers witnessed the scene unfold before them. And amidst the the murmurs and whispers of disapproval towards Xavier, the pit-pat sound of the heavy rain hitting relentlessly on the roof of the spacious coffee shop filled the whole place. Now was the time Xavier was supposed to make a coffee delivery, but it was still raining and pouring heavily. He had purposely delayed in the hopes that the rain would stop soon but it didn't, if anything, it only got heavier. And that one decision of del
But as he stared at the crushed car beside him, something within him shifted, he felt a little ache in his heart, though he wanted to ignore it but he couldn't no matter how hard he tried. Memories, painful and bittersweet memories, filled his mind. He remembered the agony his parents passed through as their body got weakened while life slipped away from them each passing day till they eventually died. His heart ached as he recalled his little sister's sadness over the loss of their parents. The cries of pain and hopelessness, the memories of his sick parents, the sad expression of Joan his little sister, his painful past, they all filled his memories giving him no chance of escaping the cruel reminder of how much he had lost in his life. His family. As if the loss wasn't enough, the unthinkable and unexpected happened. He fought hard to stop the tears that pooled up in his eyes from rolling down as he remembered the day he had lost his sister, she was taken away from him by a trag
Inside a VIP ward, the Biller family sat, surrounding the bed where the head of the family laid unconscious with bandages around his head and a drip connected to his wrist. The three individuals held different expressions that was far from pleasant as they prayed and hoped for Mr Charles Biller's fast recovery."Damn that fool!" Preston cursed with a sharp intake of breath, inhaling the air that reeked of medicine. His curse words overshadowing the beeping sound coming from where Mr Charles laid for a moment. "You should have just let me deal with him personally." He pressed on as he stomped his feet on the floor, now directing his glares at his mother."You need to calm down son, there are better ways to deal with him and I would make sure of it. Right now, we have to pray for your father's quick recovery." Mrs Edner Biller explained to her angry son because that was what seemed important at the moment. The fool will be taken care of, but only after her husband's health has been stab
