She tried to struggle, but the bindings were too tight, and the drugs had weakened her body.

"Xayne, please don't come," Serena murmured.

She didn't want Xayne to come because she knew the other side must have set traps waiting for him.

"It's already half past six in the evening. Won't the King of the North come?" Ansel said nonchalantly.

"I don't know. Anyway, if he doesn't come, this girl will be for you. It would still be worth our time," Barty remarked.

"That's true. I'll go take a shower first. In case we have to go into battle later," Ansel said gleefully, preparing to go wash up.
