CHAPTER 153:

As they watched the little girl, the guards looked at each other with confused looks. "Why isn't she scared?" one of them whispered to the other. It doesn't make sense.

The other guard just shrugged, also confused. "Maybe she doesn't understand what's happening?" Their quiet talk was cut short when Leon cried out in pain.

He yelled "No!" and strained against his chains, making noises as he did so. "Leave her alone! "Let her go!"

Suddenly, Leon's body felt like it was filled with warm, pulsing energy. He felt ten times as much strength coming back into his limbs, which made his eyes widen. When he looked down, he saw a soft glow coming from his pocket. It was the Love Stone, and its various colors were sparkling with magic.

"Sarah," he breathed, realizing what he was doing. His daughter had given him the power of the stone in some way.
