CHAPTER 21

After the Lords left the ward, the guardians of the Tarlose family also left the hospital. The man instructed them to clean all the mess. They take away the injured guardians of the Wesley family.

Emily was left with Leon and his butler. The woman is still confused and she is overwhelmed by the things that she had witnessed.

Leon noticed that she looked uncomfortable. “Are you okay, Emily? Don’t be afraid because you are safe with us,” he assured.

It was normal for a woman like Emily to feel anxious after all that happened to her. She is still recovering in the hospital yet another terrifying incident has happened again.

She was not used to seeing people fighting and hurting physically. She’s in a very vulnerable state right now and Leon was aware of that.

“Leon, who is this man? How did you become his friend?” she was curious.
