CHAPTER 68

Emily is occupied because she wants to make dinner for Leon before he leaves for his mission. She also prepared everything that he might need on his trip.

Although she didn’t expect that they would be separating this early, she tried her best to understand his situation.

Perhaps, this is an important matter for him that he needs to prioritize at any cost. The things that she has heard through Leon and Morrison’s conversation earlier have started to sink into her mind.

“Are you sure you will be leaving this evening? Can’t you wait until the sunrise tomorrow?” asked Emily with a worried voice.

She saw Leon wearing his shoes and jacket and seemed ready to leave the cottage. “Sorry, but I can’t wait another day. I need to leave this evening no matter what happens,” Leon replied seriously.

“At least, eat first before you leave. The dinner is ready,” Emily offered.

However, Leon just shook his head and said; “No need, I’m in a hurry. Thanks for being thoughtful, though.”
