CHAPTER 75

When Leon’s eyes opened next, he was beside a body of water. He frowned as he scratched his eyes, wondering how he came up here when it was clear in his mind that he was in a scorching desert the last time he checked.

He still feels a little weak now and it seems that his mind is malfunctioning. Could it be some sort of hallucination out of his exhaustion and thirst? Perhaps it could be the reason.

As he pinched his head, he suddenly remembered what he had seen before he fainted on that day in the desert, they were his parents and he did not doubt it!

“Oh no, my mom and dad were there. I saw the glimpse of their faces but it was another too near yet so far moment for me,” he was saddened by it again.

He always loses the rare opportunities he was given to meet his parents. Even though it will be just vague or only in a dream, at least he can meet and talk to them while seeing their faces fully and clearly.
