Yasuke, Chapter 13 : King Nebuchadnezzar's Might

"It seems we have a few Spartans tailing us." Botaro stated as he used intercepting style. "I can tell that they are substantially more powerful than the average knight. I believe they are both bishops."

Botaro was leading the rest of the squad of knights he and Amadia were leading on this mission. At this point in time, they travelled way closer to the Kingdom of Neserus than they were before. However, they still had a couple ways to go.

"If we allow them to follow us into Neserus, we'll have to deal with them and all of King Musa's Order. If we stop and confront them now, we probably won't be able to complete our mission." Botaro stated. "Unless Amadia somehow joins us within the next few minutes, our chances of completing the mission are extremely low."

"What should we do?" a female knight asked.

"In a time where the odds are stacked against you, it's best to assess one single strategy to fully commit to." one of the other knights replied.

"Now is not the time, Gozu." The female knight responded.

"Do not blame me for being one of a kind, just learn to value uniqueness more because it's hard to find." Gozu replied to the female knight.

"Gozu, do you think it would be better for you to face those two Spartans with Nala and Kaji instead of me?" Botaro asked. "Someone will have to stay and fight while the others goes to retrieve Yasuke."

"To face such opponents, we'd all have to elevate. So, it's best to work as one and not seperate." Gozu answered.

"Can't you ever talk regular?" Nala asked while slightly getting annoyed as always.

"Words are diverse and used for many reasons. I choose to use mine so people's interest is never leaving." Gozu explained. "Very poetic and rhythmic, but you consider it a nuisance. That just goes to show how many different ways one can view it."

"They're drawing closer." Botaro noticed. "We'll have to make a decision rather quickly."

"We're close to The Kingdom of Neserus already, we should just get Yasuke and escape as fast as we can." Kaji suggested.

"Okay, we'll just stay together and get Yasuke. Then force our way out." Botaro decided. "Get ready for a fight, because it's going to be hell."

"No, it won't." Kaji corrected. "I saw how this would play out three days ago. There's a certain element to this mission King Namunda didn't tell us about."

"Certain Element?" Botaro uttered as his mind was racing trying to find what this could mean.

"King Nobunaga was finally able to secure the position of a certain ally he's wanted for awhile." Kaji explained. "Actually, they should have infiltrated the castle by now."

"King Nebuchadnezzar of The Kingdom of Babylon?" Botaro stated. "How did King Nobunaga manage to secure him as an ally?"

"That is something I don't know." Kaji answered. "But, with King Nebuchadnezzar on our side, we shouldn't have to work too hard."

"Wait....King Nebuchadnezzar himself is enlisting on this mission?" Botaro said in shock. "If that's the case, it won't be necessary for any of us to infiltrate the castle. Yes, it would be best if we just didn't allow those two Spartans to team up with Musa's Order against him."

Botaro stopped and just levitated to the ground. Seeing this made his fellow Knights do the same.

"Since the collecting of knowledge is something I've always craved, please enlighten me on why King Nebuchadnezzar is due alot of praise." Gozu said.

Botaro watched the two spartan captains finally catch up with them as he answered Gozu's question.

"Well, he's the only King I know that became King by defeating the previous King of Babylon, King Solomon."

"He became a king by defeating the one before him? That sounds terrible, how is that a trait that's worth adoring?" Gozu asked.

"King Apollo, who was the King of Spartania before King Leonidas also fell short to King Solomon in combat. King Leonidas himself considers King Apollo to be greater than him." Botaro stated.

"So King Nebuchadnezzar beat King Solomon who beat King Apollo who is stronger than King Leonidas?" Nala asked.

"That's atleast how King Leonidas himself views it." Botaro stated.

Perseus and Hercules stood just a few feet away from Botaro and the others.

"So you two are the only Bishops in King Leonidas' Order?" Botaro asked. "Would any of you two say that there is anyone who could best your King in combat?"

"Anything is possible in combat, nothing is guaranteed." Perseus replied.

"But, it is very unlikely that anyone can." Hercules added.

"Have either of you heard of King Nebuchadnezzar?" Nala asked.

"We don't have the time to stand and answer questions." Perseus replied. "The only question that matters is if you are going to continue on your mission to take Yasuke."

"That's why we stopped." Botaro stated with a smile. "There's no need to anymore."

"What are you planning?" Hercules stated.

At this moment, it could be said that a grand catastrophe occurred. The level of this event felt worse than any natural storm or disaster. There was no hurricane or tornado that could match such a change in the atmosphere. A massive rush of chi energy could be felt surging in all directions. It seemed to spawn from King Musa's castle and encapsulate everything as it brushed along with the strongest of breezes.

"This chi is unlike anything I've ever felt." Hercules uttered.

"It must be from this supposed King Nebuchadnezzar." Perseus suggested. "We have to get to King Musa and make sure everything is okay."

"I think I'll be able to fight against this pressure the best, I'll go." Hercules admitted. "You should capture all four of them and take them for questioning."

"It shall be done." Perseus replied.

Hercules built his aura of yellow chi as he grew to a size that could strike fear in anyone. His height increased atleast three feet and his muscular definition made him seem more of mountain than a man. Hercules was always known for his nonhuman strength, it was said that he could beat most without having to use his chi.

Despite his increased size, Hercules began to levitate and fly away.

"We're just going to let him get away?" Nala asked.

"It doesn't matter, he won't be able to stop King Nebuchadnezzar." Botaro stated. "But, I think I know how we can play our role and still get praise. All we have to do is defeat him."

They all looked in sync at Perseus, who's confidence was not swayed in anyway.

"Well, you all do not need an invitation." Perseus announced. "Try to take me down the best you can!"
