Yasuke, Chapter 28 : The Secrets of Nirvana

"The first thing you need to implement into your technique is a feint attack." Logias explained.

"A feint attack is simply a deceptive attack or movement that's used to distract your opponent. With a feint, you make them think you're going to do something, and then you do something else." Domitia instructed.

"When you're dealing with a technique that's going to take a few moments to set up, feint attacks will buy you the time needed." Logias continued.

"If they're too busy focusing on feint attacks, they won't be able to see the real attack coming." Aristodemus stated.

"Exactly." Domitia replied.

"So what type of feint attack should I use?" Aristodemus inquired.

"Well, that's something we can not teach you." Logias answered.

"Yeah, feint attacks are just one of the many fundamentals of combat. Everybody should study and truly learn all of the fundamentals of combat. But how you choose to incorporate them into your arsenal is completely up to you." Domitia replied. "But, I can give you some simple ideas that you can transfigure into your own style on your own."

*MEANWHILE*

Yasuke was still in the field, simply soaking in all of the chi that surrounded him. His mind was clear, his body was relaxed, and his soul was feeling the warm embrace of the supreme energy he was seeking to learn about. After a few days of this, King Agasga came and checked on Yasuke's progress.

"How are you doing, young Yasuke?" He spoke.

"I'm feeling....a lot." Yasuke replied. "I'm learning a lot. I'm gaining a lot."

"I came because I knew you'd be troubled with a few questions after a while." King Agasga admitted. "I'm here to provide any knowledge you haven't been able to soak in yet."

"It's still early, isn't it?" Yasuke asked. "I feel as if I haven't learned enough just yet."

"Despite being completely motionless, you've been working so hard your perception of time has faltered. It's been three weeks already, Yasuke."

"Three weeks?" Yasuke replied. "It doesn't feel like it's been that long."

"If you need more time, I'll allow you to continue. There's no rush. We have an eternity."

"I do want more time." Yasuke stated. "But I also do have a few questions."

"What's on your mind?"

"Did you know I'd inherit the power of the Black Dahlia?" Yasuke asked.

"I only know what I gain through Chi. It's the purest and most dependable source of information. I've told you before that I've known you for a long time. I just had to wait for you to become flesh."

"What was I before I became flesh? How could you have known me then?"

"Chi existed before everything we know in this world. It's the origin point, Yasuke. It brought about us humans, the earth we live in, the sun that powers all life. The chi you have now bloomed way before you existed through a physical vessel. I've felt your life force even before you were brought to life."

"How long did it take you to reach Nirvana? Does it make you happy? Is it overwhelming?"

"The only way reaching the Nirvana state could make you unhappy or overwhelm you is if you use it for the wrong reasons. We serve a higher purpose. Once you realize this and follow the path of serving that higher purpose, reaching Nirvana feels like heaven."

"Can you tell me what this higher purpose is?"

"No, I cannot."

"Wait, why? Why can't you tell me?"

"Because I have not completed it yet. We both still have a long way to go, Yasuke. But, the first step is to learn and gain an understanding of how everything works. Then, you will be able to begin completing your purpose."

"I think I understand."

"You're doing a great job so far, Yasuke. The process will be over before you know it."

"We'll see."

"I don't want to disrupt your training any longer than I have, so I'll leave now." King Agasga concluded. "In a few more weeks, I think we'll be able to see whether or not you'll move to the next stage."

After King Agasga vanished, he reappeared in his own personal quarters, which was the tip of a temple in the middle of the Kingdom of Objibwe. After he settled in, he got into communication with Eradius.

"Eradius, are you free to talk?" King Agasga thought.

His words instantly echoed in Eradius' head.

"King Agasga, yes, we can have some words." he replied.

"It's about the boy, Yasuke. He's doing well with his training. He's actually adjusting at a very fast rate. I wanted to reward him with greetings from some familiar faces." King Agasga explained.

"Oh, of course. Are you going to summon us there?"

"Yes, within a few more weeks, I will summon you personally. I also want King Leondias and his knight Mona to accompany you."

"I'll let them know immediately. Thank you."

After the end of the conversation, Eradius got up and left his house. He was still staying in the Kingdom of Neserus on a plot of land very similar to the one he lived on prior. He directed his attention to a specific patch of weeds that were growing in his backyard.

"I don't want to leave just yet." Eradius thought. "I have to make sure I harvest these as soon as they're done growing. That can be any day now."
