Chapter 130: Betrayed by a Friend

Eleanor's POV

Harley and I snuck out of the hunters' party, taking advantage of everyone's attention on Logan and Lawrence. Then quickly, we hopped into the car and returned to the villa. However, I was worried about Lawrence and Logan. What if the hunters caught up with them?

Mostly, I was worried about Lawrence. Why did he wake up so quickly? And he charged to the party without wasting any time. What was he thinking? To come so close to the vicious hunters.

Harley turned to me, "I'm sorry, Miss Eleanor. Mr. Lawrence called me and I told him about what happened at the party. When I saw that hunter stalking you, I had a feeling that they wouldn't have let you go. That's why I told Mr. Lawrence where we were."
