Chapter 142: Saving Eleanor

Lawrence's POV

My heart nearly stopped when I saw Eleanor in the video. How did she end up getting caught? She had come to the company with me and she had strict instructions to stay in my office until I came to pick her up.

Yet, somehow, she had fallen into the hands of Harvey. She looked wounded and it seemed like she was being held in an abandoned house.

I couldn't understand how she had gotten caught. Something must have gone wrong somewhere.

I had someone retrieve the surveillance footage and discovered that Eleanor had been to the warehouse before the accident. When I asked around, one of the secretaries told me that after Eleanor had finished handing over her work, she had asked around about Bena, who, apparently, had a shooting scheduled on the premises today.
