Chapter 157: She Wants You Dead

Eleanor's POV

I didn't know what Parker was up to, but my instincts told me that he was not as kind as he pretended to be.

But between a Parker behind a façade and a hostile-looking Elsa, I decided to stick with the former. Parker seemed to be a safer bet. Besides, I wanted to talk to Parker about the attack at the hospital. Perhaps I could ask him about Elsa and Lawrence's history too.

Although I was very sure that Lawrence had no feelings for Elsa, I couldn't just ignore this girl. She was dangerous, she was practically a walking time bomb.

So I told Parker, "Alright then, count me in for the wine tasting. I'll come with you."

With that, I left with Parker, leaving behind a seething Elsa in the living room. Parker first showed me around their vineyard, which was in the middle of a great harvest. The grape vines were in abundance in the vineyard.

Parker plucked some of the grapes and passed them to the maids clean. He said they would pack and wrap them up in gift boxes for Lawrence
