“Felt it right?” Old Shen asked. “That lad was lying to us about something.” He stood beside the chieftain who sat down on a cliff. The sun was at its peak and the sky as clear as it could be.

“Whether he lied or not, we have to be careful. If that ancient beasts really resides in his body, then using him as a sacrifice for our curse will be hard,” the chieftain said.

“Hard not impossible?” Old Shen asked.

“Hard,” the chieftain replied. “That ancient beast may be powerful, but it can be restricted after all its just a soul residue.”

“What should be our next move then?”

“We’ll allow him cultivate in there for three months. With his talent and the resources there, he should reach the low-tier core formation realm.”

“Is it really alright to leave him in there?” Old Shen asked. “What if he finds that thing?”

“He won’t. Only Nascent soul masters can sense it,” the chieftain replied. “Tell the people to start preparing, we leave this realm in three months.”

“Alright.”
