Their Transition

The silence of the night prevailed. Only the sound of the cutlery can be heard in those moments. No one wants to break the silence. Leo sighed. She looked at him.

"Your sigh is too depth." she jokingly said to him. He looked at her. She immediately turned her attention back to the food because of the intensity of his stares. She still can't stand his stare. She feels like she's going to lose consciousness.

"I want to say sorry for what happened earlier. I didn't mean to kiss you. I was just carried away." he said.

Why does it seem so painful to hear those words from him? That he didn't like the kiss that they shared. It was as if a dagger had pierced her chest. It hurts so much. She swallowed.
