Illusion

“Why did you take so long?” Layla asked,the planned time for their arrival was already far past and Easton, who was known for his chivalrous attitude,thought he might have played them.

“I just dealt with some obstacles on the way,” Easton said,and the rest of his teammates raised a brow,how he got to the Moment Site still remained a mystery and now he supposedly handles some people does he really have some special powers.

“Did you acquire all the orbs needed?” Kate asked,she was worried that he wasn't able to defend himself from his attackers and had lost all the required orbs,that would be really bad for them.

"Here they are," Easton handed the orbs over to them.

"Wow it's actually complete," Kate said after looking into the bag where the orbs were kept.

"Nice,we can go back now," Hector said, but he soon realised that they weren't following him along.

"What are you guys still waiting for?"Hector asked as he turned back to see them still standing.

"You didn't even wait to hear, we are planning to find the cultivation site," Daxton said, and they all burst out in laughter.

"You're telling me you guys want to find your cultivation site? What a joke?" Layla said, mimicking him and his supposed stupidity.

"I didn't beg you to believe me, not did I beg any of you to come with me, I just decided to come to inform you and also drop the orbs,"

"I literally have a whole library in my head, and you expect me to be like those fools who couldn't get their way to the cultivation site," Easton said his teammates seemed like a joke to him, they are actually comparing him to some people who were duller than a brick.

Indeed Easton's literal knowledge was out of the world, everyone acknowledges that, some of the members began to change their mind, what if he was really right? The people who were looking for the cultivation site, were actually not good enough.

"Even if they are dull, the cultivation site has not been seen by anyone of our generation,how sure are you that it isn't actually dangerous?" Hector asked, he understood that Easton could literally have books growing out of his head but it's not all the time that it is true.

"Like I said before it is based on literal knowledge unlike you guys I've already known the site, the dangers and the benefits I don't need you to warm me," Easton said he was totally sure of what he was talking about he had been studying on those books for years it would be unfair for him not to know it now.

“You have an idea there, but do you have a guarantee that you will be able to get in?". Kate asked as she was getting slowly convinced but his words seemed to make sense in her ears, but she needed to ensure our safety after all.

"As long as you have enough spiritual poweress you should be able to get in," 

"I'll come along then I bet I have more spiritual poweress than you," Kate said and he smirked.

"We should proceed now, we don't have much time left," Easton said, Layla and Hector took another glance at each other.

"I don't think I'll go, someone has to submit this orbs after all and moreover my foundation doesn't allow an extension of powers," Layla said, you could easily see the happiness on Hector's face when he heard Layla's words.

"I will leave these orbs to you then," Hector said and planted it on her hands.

"I will let the Masters know, they will probably come in after a few hours in case you guys get lost," Layla said and they waved her goodbye.

They walked towards the west and Easton came to a stop in front of a big door 

"Will we enter the cultivation site, after opening those doors?"Kate asked in curiosity she really hadn't let Easton rest for once since they started their journey.

"Like I said you have to have great spiritual poweress, after opening the store you will meet a bunch of beasts, some of you might even have to face your inner beasts, but it isn't as easy as the ones you met here"

"The lowest ranked beast would fight like a high tried beasts so don't get overconfident or you could lose all ability to cultivate or at worst you could lose your life in there" Easton said and their eyes widened as they all chorused.

"Why didn't you say so?”

He turned to them in shock hearing their reactions “I thought I said you should have a great spiritual poweress I think I made that clear enough,”

“But If you want to go back,I can give you the map!” Easton said he really seemed totally prepared for this moment. He had been training himself for years and years ago and this was his chance. It seemed like if he didn't enter the cultivation site he would never be able to improve again.

“We wouldn't give up that easily,” Kate said and the rest smiled in agreement.

“Okay then brace yourselves,” Easton said as he opened the door and great light shone on their faces.

All the students were presented and all their orbs were already submitted.

Karen's eyes viewed through the whole crowd, “Layla,where are the rest of your group members?” all the students turned their eyes to her, everyone seemed to know that she was into the same team with Easton and every one of them seemed so eager to know how he turned out.

Layla gave a low smile,’I guess she did notice me’ 

“They all proceeded to look for the cultivation site,” her words caused mixed reactions among the students. Many were yet to even understand her words, some wanted to burst out in laughter. Why would Easton lead a group to find the cultivation site? Some were actually happy that someone was ready to try to find the site.

Karen's brows raised a little bit suspecting her,they could be trying to deceive her as a prank,it was not that common but they were still people who had the audacity to do it.

“Your group won the evaluation however,you all captured the strongest beasts,”

“Are you really implying that Easton went ahead to find the cultivation site?”

"Though it isn't included, when stating the rules but the cultivation site is like a taboo to reach, how could he dare to do that?" Karen asked.

"Why didn't you go along with them?" she asked Layla again,if only Layla was going to be bombarded with questions like this, she wouldn't really have bothered to come back.

"I couldn't follow them because I still need to complete the mission, but they will probably find the site," Layla said and Karen sighed.

"That's the end of this year's gathering, you can all return back to the academy," Karen announced. It was like people were waiting for her words. Everyone took to the air and flew out in less than twenty seconds. There were five more remaining on the site.

Layla was definitely a part of the people who were waiting behind,she was waiting for her teammates because she was an eyewitness. According to their words it is as if she committed a crime.

Cultivation Site

“Where are the beasts?” Kate asked as they were drawn into the cultivation site,the place looked like heaven on earth. It looked like a place where it would be an abomination for a beast to even see this place.

“I don't know this definitely how I pictured it,” Easton said,looking around as he went around the place and touched the trees that seemed unrealistic. It felt so real,it wasn't an illusion then why did the books say they will face high ranked beasts.

“No one should cultivate yet until we discover if this is real,” Easton said and Hector smiled, touching his shoulders.

“I believe you this place came too easy,” he said. They looked around and saw some fruits on the trees and presented them to Easton. Most of them he had already read about in books.

“I think this place is real,we suffered a little bit before being able to come here,” Kate said,they had all stayed there for a while and nothing seemed to have changed.

“Yes, should we announce it to the remaining members?” Hector asked, Easton was totally lost in his thoughts,was he actually wrong,even if the books were wrong that doesn't mean he was,he had already seen some visions of the site and it is definitely not like this so why? 

Kate got up from Easton’s side and said “He is still thinking about it deeply, let's look for more clues,” Hector heeded to her words and they all went back for some clues.

Daxton soon sat by Easton's side and asked “Should I bring you some water?”
