Poisoned By The Dragon

Karen informed the seated academy authorities, "According to the information I got from their fellow students, they have decided to find the cultivation site," one of the teachers stood up in a fit of rage.

"However?"

Fallon, who was not only a teacher but also one of the academy's longest-serving instructors and was even regarded as an elder, remarked, "You know that is a no go area if they don't eventually die there they will uncover some dark secrets." It wasn't shocking that he knew so much about the academy.

Drake remarked, "This isn't the time to shout Fallon, we have to find a way to shut them out." Fallon was the most irritable of the numerous elders and had a history of causing a lot of trouble due to his anger management difficulties,he was not hated by one but numerous students in the academy even the royal family had some rooted hatred at him,the other elders and some students so tried to remove him because of his anger issues but although he was still standing and being counted among the elders it was like as if he was possessed as he still hasn't gotten control over his anger issues yet.

"Let's find them first; we need to notify the royal family so we won't be punished for being unable to care for them alone," Riley stated that although it may appear that he has the last say, in reality, he is subservient to the imperial family and occasionally the elders. Riley was the general head of the academy,he held the most power in the academy and had the strongest ties to the royal family, though it wasn't because he was the least of the academy but it was because they wanted to use him in fact they were already using him for their deeds.

Riley proclaimed, "Giana and Rowan should go along with Karen and find them, while I inform the royal family," and they all set to work.

They had their eyes closed. They thought they would die next, but when they realised nothing had happened to them, they quickly opened their eyes.Easton was fortifying himself against the flames.

"He's able to use his powers?" Kate questioned, shocked by everything. Even though Easton was the weakest, he appeared as though his body could fail at any moment. Is he lying to them or does he have residual energy since he was making a counterattack?

"Apause!"

Hector remarked, "Look at his eyes," pointing out that Easton's eyes had changed colour and were now crimson with a ferocious intensity radiating from his body.

"What's going on?" Daxton questioned, unable to comprehend what had transpired in those few seconds. He also noticed Easton's eyes becoming crimson; was this an illusion or something else?

Hector replied, "Let's help him. We might not have any power left, but we can still use our martial arts." This inspired the other two to stand up as well, even though Daxton's talents had reached their lowest point. Between the three of them, they could undoubtedly help Easton.

With all his might, Hector scaled the dragon and swung its head away from Easton, who now had enough power to destroy it.

Daxton slid beneath it and slashed at it with his sword, but the beast was too weak to chop off Hector's legs; instead, it forced him to fall to the ground, where he crashed into the ground.

Kate moved next, slicing through its other leg to become vital and more easily attacked, but it wasn't prepared to spit fireballs and an ice cage, removing anything he could bring out of his mouth. They all waved, but Easton appeared to be possessed because he didn't even try to dodge or shake, instead he just went head-on, taking everything thrown at him.

Hector worried for him, saying, "Drag him back, he will die if he keeps going forward." No matter what kind of magic Easton tried to employ to make himself able to rise again, it would backfire if he continued on.

"And if I go even an inch nearer to that beast, I will die; don't worry, he knows what he is doing." Kate remarked, smiling awkwardly, at the strange suggestion Hector was making. It wasn't as though she didn't care if Easton perished, but if she went there, they would perish together in agony.

"Easton!" Daxton attempted to call, but it appeared as though his spirit was absent from his body; at that point, Easton's body appeared to be the tool utilised for operation. After taking a few more steps towards the dragon, he slid beneath it and punctured its heart, causing the environment to gradually alter.

The dragon vanished, and the trees gradually transformed into a book-filled shelf. The floor gradually changed to a gold-coloured tile, and in some areas, a furnace could be seen. Eventually, the area that was emitting cool energy—a location to refuel—was reached.

"Tell me this isn't just another illusion, please." Was there anything in her eyes that she was a little reluctant to believe? Kate inquired. Having witnessed an illusion previously, she wouldn't want to touch the floor and be engulfed by it, therefore it was worth being suspicious.

Hector exclaimed, "No, Kate, no, it is real the gold floored the place for increasing and replenishing energy, it is all real none of this is fake," showing his delight. He was now, at last, glad that he had followed Easton here, knowing that he hadn't betrayed their confidence but had actually brought them here.

Daxton clarified how unsure of herself Kate was by saying, "Easton already said that we would get here after killing the dragon, and that is exactly what we have done." As if she required counselling.

Kate said, "Okay, I still want to— we forget Easton he has lost consciousness," as she peered into the area and noticed Easton unconscious on the ground. She moved quickly to pick him up and laid him down on the ground, sending cool energy to help him regain his strength.

Daxton also went to the where the furnace was to create a medication that would save his life.

"What are you producing?" Kate questioned as she went to where Easton was producing pills after dropping him off on the ice bed in the cultivation site.

It's a tablet for replenishment. I learned how to do that from Easton. Daxton remarked, "It will really help him," and returned his attention to gathering the herbs.

Kate remarked, "I see you know the herbs," pointing to the methodical, deliberate way he had picked the herbs.

Daxton nodded, "Yes, he helped me remember the names and appearance of the herbs; it is essential for me to know the herbs." After selecting the herbs, Daxton concentrated on the boiler, using his power to slowly ignite it before adding the herbs.

"Have you studied alchemy before?" Kate questioned, studying his face, his emotions, and the way he handled the flames.

"No," Daxton answered, despite the fact that the pill he was manufacturing didn't know how to be created; all he knew was how to combine the herbs.

"Now it makes sense that you are doing it incorrectly; the pill cannot be made," He turned to face Kate as the herbs in the boiler exploded just as she was finishing her sentence.

As she took his place, he begged, folding his hands into fists. "Can you make it instead?" he said.

"All I know how to do is control the fire." I will follow your instructions even though I'm not sure how to make the pill. I'm not sure if I'll be able to make the pill, though. So that he wouldn't be upset if she also ruined the herbs, Kate claimed she took care to make it clear that she wasn't quite a master.

It was a little difficult for Kate at first because she wasn't the fire element, but she managed to light the furnace with low fire concentration. After adding all the herbs, she gradually increased the intensity of the fire, making it burn more furiously, and the pill started to get better.

When Daxton noticed that the medicine that may save and heal Easton was already looking up and exhibiting symptoms of becoming a pill, he remarked, "Thank you so much, I can feed him the pill after you are done."

Kate grinned at him and said, "I'm glad I didn't mess up the herbs or make any mistakes." However, it seemed that the instant she went back, the pill burst and crushed in the furnace, and Kate appeared prepared to lift the furnace and smash it with her hands because she had held on for so long, and in the end, the pill was crushed.

Kate remarked, "Let me try again. It was probably because I got distracted." She had formally accepted the challenge to produce the pill at last. Daxton gave a nod, acknowledging that he was worse than Kate and that he would burn the herbs before they could even consider joining forces.

Kate couldn't help but agree that although she would have preferred to try again, a person's life was at risk, so she couldn't just waste the herbs; there was another chance for her to do that. Daxton abruptly stopped as he was about to pass the herbs to her. "There is only a Caulily herb left," Daxton said.

Hector was really already at the ice bed, developing himself, when they both left the building.

Kate replied, "It turns out he is already replenishing your energy. I was wondering why I didn't hear him talk all this while." She shook him without bothering to call his neck, and he opened his eyes right away.

"I just needed a few more minutes to get out of this phase I'm in, why did you do that?" “How can you do that to me? Hector yelled angrily at Kate, she had just interrupted his cultivation.

It's fair enough, but how can you continue to develop yourself while Easton is still unconscious? Kate said, showing him how daring it was for him to ask her such a question.

"Explain what you mean." "I assumed he was replenishing his energy already" Hector claimed that he appeared perplexed as he attempted to comprehend what she had said; it appeared to him like something else. After being placed on the ice bed, he ought to be alright and regain his strength.

"I suppose you forget that we didn't fight against any common beast, but you do forget that the red-draining dragon is incredibly poisonous, don't you?" Hector was the one who revealed the dragon's identity to them and was the first to advise keeping Easton away from it, so Kate thought it was absurd that he was now questioning whether Easton wasn't expected to be okay by now.

Hector shook his head and apologised, realising how terrible his memories was. "How can we help him survive?" Hector enquired, but he was concerned that he would not know how to assist them.

"We came to ask if you have any knowledge in alchemy perhaps, as Dawson mentioned there is a pill that could heal him, but we can't control the furnace," Kate remarked.

"That you have a medication that can save him is fantastic, but I didn't take any alchemy classes, and I don't even know what herbs are," Hector replied, and Kate gave him a disappointed look. He was meant to be a senior, but in reality, he had missed all of the Alchemy lectures. He also gave off the impression that he would lecture them when they got out about not skipping any lessons.

"Let me handle it," they heard a voice say behind them.

“Easton!?”

“Are you sure you can do it?” Kate asked, Easton had suddenly risen from the cold bed and his face was pale but he had said he wanted to make the pill.

“I was just poisoned but I can still move,” Easton explained.

“Didn't you read your books?” Easton asked and he stood moving towards the furnace,he was actually still in the mood to make jokes.

He went towards the furnace and they all followed him as he was about to light up the furnace with his spiritual powers he felt his hands being held by someone.
