Let Me Sleep On Your Shoulder

Waking up in the morning, the first thing Xian Chen saw was a sleeping Yu Bin, holding his hand tightly. His heart started to beat rapidly and, fearing that he would wake Yu Bin up, he took his hand back and tried his best to relax.

"Do I have heart problems now? "  he thought.

" What happened to your heart? " Yu Bin jumped out of sleep.

She heard Xian Chen, who expressed his thoughts without realizing it.

"Do you want me dead? I'm just asking idiotic princess. Why are you yelling  early in the morning?"

"Shut up and tell me what's wrong with your heart, did you say you had heart problems?"

"When did I say that?"

"right now ?"

"...."

"Don't look at me like that, Xian Chen, and don't tell me you're okay because I'll never believe you again."

" You ... did you take care of my wounds?" Xian Chen asked fatigued. Maybe they are behaving like a cat and a mouse at their usual time and maybe Yu Bin looks like a spoiled princess but when he needed a shoulder to cry she was there crying for him. Tonight when his life was at risk she took care of him.

"I..." Yu Bin didn't know what to answer. 

"Thanks ."

"Don't thank me, I did it because I don't want to die with you." She answered seriously.

"Even so, thank you." Xian Chen said. He knew… Even if her first thought could be her own life, in the end, she chose to save his life because she cares. 

"Let's rest today .... ok Xian Chen" Yu Bin said looking into his eyes, even if he didn't say anything she knew he needed rest.

"I need to train."

"Stop talking nonsense, because of the pain I felt last night I'm too tired to even move. and I was awake all night because of you."

" I'm Sorry...."

"Don't apologize, just let me rest."

She was not saying that for her though, she was extremely worried for Xian Chen.  She kept wondering last night till she fell asleep, but how did he get hurt? Why didn't she show him fighting? Did he save her? Lots of thoughts passed through her mind. At least this is what she can do to make him stay in a place and get well.

"Can we go to the garden, please?'

"Xian Chen, I need rest. really..."

"I promise I won't move around, I just need to see how Longwei feels. Last night was not ok."

"Oh, ok, we can go if you promise you won't move around."

"I  promise."

Xian Chen and Yu Bin got dressed and went out into the garden, the air felt so clean there. No dust, no bad smell. Everything felt so fresh. Xian Chen and Yu Bin sat down under a tree, he took the book and called Longwei. Just like last night, Longwei was still a baby dragon.

"Master, maybe because you were hurt. Do you think the corpses had poison in them?"

"But it's a training camp, how could it be? They will not put poison in a training camp. "      Xian Chen said, confused.

"Xian Chen, are you okay? What happened? Should we go inside to rest? You don't look too good."

"I'm fine Yu Bin, don't worry, I'm stronger than you think."

"Don't say you're fine anymore, these words make me worry."

"Master, you should look at your wounds, if they turned purple, it means you were poisoned. But then the worst part is that we don't know who tried to kill who. One of you three is in great danger ..."

"I know ..." Xian Chen said worriedly.

"Xian Chen  ?!"

"Yes, Yu Bin ?"

"From what you both talk…what I want to say… Xian Chen…are you poisoned? It's this why I  couldn't heal you last night?" Yu Bin asked worriedly. *That could be a reason* she thought, looking at Xian Chen concerned.

" Don't worry Yu Bin, as I said, that was a training camp. No one can fool around. 

"Still…"

"Don't worry Yu Bin, it's just a wound. It's just happening to heal harder, that's all" Xian Chen said, holding her face between his hands. 

"Can I sleep on your shoulder? I'm really tired."

"Of course, sleep, I'll wake you up later."

" Thanks. Yu Bin  said with a tender smile."

Falling asleep on Xian Chen's shoulder, Yu Bin's head continued to fall, so he turned her over and let her sit with her head on his lap, then he fell asleep too. Looking at her, he felt a warm feeling running through his body. "This woman is beautiful inside and out," he thought before falling asleep relaxed … From the time he was tied up with Yu Bin,  he found out that he can fall asleep soundly.  

The wind blew a few leaves that finished somehow by falling on Yu Bin's soft hair and both teenagers were sleeping soundly,  not caring about what could happen to them in the future. 

Opening her eyes, Yu Bin woke up face to face with Xian Chen, who was sleeping soundly.

"Ack, he's so handsome even when he's asleep," she thought, and she was lost in that thought for a while.

The moment Xian Chen opened his eyes, what he saw made him startle for a moment. Yu Bin was very close to him and she looked him straight in the eye.

"What are you doing Yu Bin?"

"I ... I ..."

"Stop staring at me."

"I  was wondering … Xian Chen, are you human?"

"Why? Am I too handsome ?"    he asked dramatically

"Ohoo, I was wondering if you're human because you look like ... just like a monkey,"    Yu Bin said with a laugh.

"Like a ... monkey? how dare you"Xian Chen said and jumped on her, tickling her as Yu Bin giggled and struggled to run out.

"stop, ha ha ha, stop, I can't anymore, please stop XiAn Chen, I'm sorry. Brother Xian, please, stooooop. she said, laughing hard."

 Hearing her say brother in such a way, made him shudder for a moment. It felt so good to hear someone naming him like that.

" Xian Chen, are you okay? How is your wound?"

"I'm ok … Yu Bin ... Can you call me from now on, Brother Xian?"

"Oh? Why ?" Yu Bin asked smirking 

"sounds nice ..." He answered looking at the window in front of him.

"Ok brother Xian. Yu Bin teased and Xian Chen blushed."

A small smile appeared on Xian Chen's face and Yu Bin got stunned. Naturally, Xian Chen was a handsome man. But smiling, he seemed out of this world. Her heart started beating uncontrollably and Xian Chen instantly shivered not knowing what had happened.

 Just a moment ago, his heart was beating normally and now it beats so much. It intensified his idea that he might have heart problems.

"Yu Bin, turn around, I want to change my bandage"

"Let me help you..."

"It's okay, I can do it, please turn around," Xian Chen said seriously and Yu Bin turned.

He untied the bandages one by one and changed them. Longwei was right. He was poisoned. But he can't let Yu Bin know. When the rope will untie then he will go and get healed.
