Should he thank or curse his star?He was still running farther away into the street of London when the next moment he felt himself being lifted from the ground and for a few moments he was floating on air before he finally found himself hitting the ground again with a loud thud while a black Bentley came to a halt a few feet away from him. He had been hit, hit by a black Bentley,Nick’s head was already dripping blood when he noticed the car door open and a man stepped out, his eyes were already fuzzy so he could not make out the man’s face but he knew he was not an ordinary man feeling the aura emanating from him.“Is he dead?” He heard the man ask a nearby person and he felt someone touch his neck.“No sir” came the reply”“He looks familiar” he heard the voice again, “Nick Furgesson” the voice added,” take him to the hospital and contact his family”Even in his weak state, Nick wanted to refuse, they couldn’t contact his family nor when they wanted him dead.Slowly, he forced his eyes open and began to talk in a hushed tone, his voice was almost inaudible.“Don’t contact my family please” was the words that came out of his mouth and the man stopped.“What did he say?” He asked, turning back to the struggling Nick.“He doesn’t want us to contact his family sir”The man stood for a while like he was studying the man on the floor, he wasn’t even in a haste to take him to the hospital.“Don’t call them,” Nick begged again.“Have a doctor treat him at the mansion” he added before entering his Bentley and driving away.Nick didn’t know how he should feel after being involved In an accident but he was glad that he wouldn’t be meeting his family again, they wanted him dead after all.The last thing he remembered was when he was being lifted from the ground, everywhere became pitch black.
