CHAPTER SEVENTY THREE.

Nick was having a drink with his father in law on the porch, the two were having a heated argument about the ongoing football match and it seemed like fray’s team was winning which made Nick slightly sad but it was all for the game.

“Will the two of you keep watching the game until tomorrow?” April asked walking out of the house, for hours they have been watching one game after another.

“You can either watch or go away quietly” her father reprimanded lovingly and she rolled her eyes.

Just as she wanted to move, her phone began to ring and as she saw her caller ID, her countenance changed but she quickly masked it up with a fake smile. Her husband was very keen on her and noticed everything but he didn’t say a word.

“I will take this call” she said and briskly walked inside the house,

“Why are you calling me?” April asked immediately she pressed the receive button, “I have told you to always text me”

“Things have gone haywire April” A masculine voice said from the other end, “the crime
