CHAPTER THIRTY SEVEN.

“You have a visitor” the jailer announced as he walked to the cell room. Chris was sitting in a corner and as he heard the jailer’s voice, his eyes lit up. Maybe his family was here to see him.

“Who?” He asked further.

“I think you should see for yourself” he retorted and led him out of the room.

The moment he got to the visitor’s quarters, he was surprised to see his ten year old daughter and she was with Nick. How did he even get to meet his daughter?

Clenching his fist, Chris walked towards the two of them and his daughter’s face creased into a smile.

“Dad?” She called.

“My angel” Chris muttered as he placed his hands on the glass barrier, how he really missed his daughter after all these days.

“Why are you in here dad?” She asked again but Chris ignored her and had his eyes fixated on Chris who had a smirk on his face.
