The Spire of Thunder was one of two family heirlooms that had been passed off as mythological stories. Zachary remembered something about a story he had heard from his grandfather about how they were descendants of Zeus.

The spear being talked about was one of Zeus' weapons, although no one believed it.

Zachary looked up at Hermes. "Is this serious?" He looked at him sternly.

"Zeus, I heard the news. In fact, it's all over the place. And everyone wants it." Hermes gave an explanation.

Zachary squeezed the hem of the shirt he was wearing. His eyes looked straight ahead.

The words of his grandfather were still vividly remembered. Even on the night of the massacre, when the car exploded, Zachary realized that what his grandfather had said was true if the second heirloom was gone.
