Enzo's Courage

Resting on his backpack, after gasping for a while Kai took a break from his heavy breathing. He couldn't help but exclaim, "It's a good thing we didn't bring any documents. The bag is all wet now!"

"Thank you!" Enzo gasped, struggling to catch his breath.

"Don't thank me, thank these suits that saved us from freezing to death. Although I must admit, I'm still feeling the chill," Kai chuckled.

"Let's keep moving!" He stood up and extended out his hand toward Enzo.

Enzo grasped his hand and rose to his feet, only to realize that Kai was leading them closer to a towering straight mountain with an unusual absence of snow on its walls.

Kai glanced to his right and spotted a cabin in the distance. It was the same cabin where Bella had made her sacrifice, and the remains of blood and flesh still stained its surroundings.

"Time jumps are getting longer, which means we have more time!" Kai beckoned him with his fingers as he continued. "This way!" Kai exclaimed.

He sprinted ahead, determined
