"The next time you attempt to outsmart us, think twice. Remember your place, as a woman.

No matter how many generations pass, you will always be beneath us, under our feet." He locked eyes with her, his eyes filled with horror, with arrogance, and his voice declaring superiority.

The woman sat there, trembling and terrified. As everyone else left the room, she remained, traumatized and unable to move.

His words echoed in her ears, haunting her every thought.

Meanwhile, Kai sensed that something really bad was about to happen.

He continued to attempt to reach out to me, knowing that danger was looming over their head.

But Kai wasn't the only one concerned about my disappearance.

Enzo, too, was desperately trying to establish contact. Frustrated, he yanked off his earpiece and threw it onto the table, putting on his gloves.

His gaze fixated on the brain images of Lily.

Just then, Veronica entered the room, her presence finally a distraction from his troubled mind that kept thinking abou

“The old Ferric Burg Citizens are pressing us to eliminate Zaria because they say she’s a walking danger to all of us, so they want us to either cast her out or eliminate her in order to secure the Trinocite?” She answered."Yes, and when Veronica attempted to reason with them, their leader Mathew insisted on having a right to vote.He wants a fair voting process to find out who is on their side. As they departed, Jim inquired, "What happened to you, Zaria? I have never witnessed you so shattered before!" He whispered softly."I just wish that when they return next time, they would end my life!" I began to sob uncontrollably.Never before had I felt so weak and exploited; just the thought of enduring this trauma again was unbearable. On the other hand, Jim refused to give up so easily. He stood up and turned away from me, declaring, "Then I might as well inform Alice that you have given up on her once again!" His words ignited something within me.I turned my head toward him, lost in my thoughts. Later that evening, they presented us with food. I was starving, not that I felt hungry, but I was weak because I had no food since I was unconscious for two days. When I saw the platter of thick beef patties, my forehead wrinkled with disgust. "Eat, you need to regain your strength!" the guard who brought the food insisted."I will not eat it!" I declared."If you refuse, you will no

I inputted number two and then remembered his mention of a third friend "Three!" I quickly entered 3 and then recalled his comment about the other two being useless, so I entered 2 again. Finally, I entered 258 "Who is loyal to me!" As I flipped through the pages, on the first few pages I found prices and lists of items. "What in the world is AC and DC? Is this some sort of coded language?" I squinted. "Zaria!" He facepalmed. "AC stands for Alternating Current and DC stands for Direct Current. Don't ask me to explain it now, we don't have time." He hardly contained his laughter. He inquired, "Don't you know how to read?""If I didn't know how to read, how could I read the exact same letters?" I replied with a smirk. We maintained eye contact for a few minutes before I finally spoke up, "Listen, my father taught me how to read, but how was I supposed to know the meaning of AC and DC?"Jim dismissed it, saying, "It's probably just a list of appliances, just leave it!"So I threw the diary in frustration, but as soon as it hit the ground, my gaze fell upon the page that had flipped open.I couldn't resist picking it up once again. "It's so painful," I muttered. "There's no map or directions, and it seems like there's no way out. But maybe, just maybe, there's a hidden path through this tunnel!""We should take this diary with us," I suggested. “No, we can’t retreat!” I shot back, my mind racing. “If we fall back now, we’ll just be leading them to the survivors! Who knows what these things are capable of if they breach the bunker?”The immortal army was unstoppable, their unsettling faces and wide-open mouths still screaming as they marched forward. The situation was dire, and every second felt like we were inching closer to doom. Then, an idea struck me. “We’ll lead them somewhere else instead! Somewhere they won’t follow the others!” Without waiting for a response, I took off running toward the right, motioning for the others to follow.“There are plenty of ruined buildings to the east,” Kai called after me, sprinting to catch up. “We can find cover there, maybe even set a trap!”"Exactly! The ground shook violently beneath us, the force of the lab’s landing sending a powerful jolt through the battlefield. The shockwave hit us hard, like a giant hand swatting us aside. We flew, bodies tossed into the air like ragdolls, crashing to the ground in a brutal cascade.I groaned, feeling the sharp sting of pain from the fall. My vision blurred for a moment as I pushed myself up, dirt and debris filling the air around me. Many of us survived the impact, but not everyone was so lucky. As I looked around, the grim reality hit me. The number of those who fell, the martyrs—was far greater than the survivors.I pushed myself up from the debris, my body aching as I limped up to my feet. Dust and rubble filled the air, and the sight before me was nothing short of devastating. Those who hadn’t made it halfway to the bunker were crushed,

The battlefield was chaos. Screams, explosions, and the endless rain of arrows and bullets filled the air. His eyes were intense, but his voice softened as he leaned in close, whispering in her ear. "I know this is overwhelming, but you’ve got this. Someone innocent?" My voice cracked, panic creeping into my words."No!" she snapped, her gaze darting between readings. "The heartbeat is… off. Abnormal. It's clocking in at 250 beats per minute. No human, even with a severe condition, could sustain that while moving this fast. This... this is something beyond what we’re ready for." Her fingers hovered over the screen, absorbing more data. Then she froze, her eyes widening. "It’s six feet tall, and only an inch from the barrier!" Her voice wavered. "It... it looks like a plane."I leaned closer, trying to make sense of the silhouette on the display. "A plane? But at that size? Who the hell would build a plane so small?" The shape on the screen did resemble an aircraft, but it was no larger than a child’s toy. Something was very, very wrong.Pan

“No, Zaria! It all happened right before our eyes,” Kai said, his voice thick with disbelief. The weight of the moment pulled us together in a tight group hug, but the shock left me frozen. She stopped in front of a large, rusted wheel embedded in the circular wall—a giant mechanism that looked like it belonged to an old bank vault.“I don’t think Veronica knows anything about this,” Jennifer whispered, her gaze fixed on the wheel. “But it’s
