Unfolding
When he woke up, Kai held a knife to his throat, directly pointing it on the center of his throat “See, there’s no way you are getting away from us, so tell us, who sent you to kill her? So maybe we will just let you live.” He waited but the man kept staring at him.

“Listen, I’m going to ask you one last time, who…” Before he could complete his sentence, the man pushed himself against the knife so fast and so hard that it pierced his throat, Kai was sitting there with his mouth wide open.

“What the!” He stepped back.

"Looks like he was loyal to his master!" I pursed my lips and we left with the events of the caged area still fresh in my mind.

As we stepped out, I couldn't believe my eyes. Kai's body started glitching and flickering, until he completely disappeared. It was as if he was never there.

Confusion and fear filled my thoughts. If this was all just a game, why would they hire someone to kill me?
