Rebecca gulped, feeling a little uneasy.

‘A woman? And Commander?’ she thought, confused. ‘I haven’t dialed the wrong number, have I?’

“Hello?” Rebecca asked, her tone low. “I’m not sure who else to call. It’s about Oliver. Did I… call the right person?”

Melissa, who was currently working on the Legion, shifted in her seat.

She leaned back, becoming more attentive. “Yes, you did. What happened to him?”

“Timothy took him to the bar where we are right now. This is technically his territory, so I don’t have any idea who to ask for help,” Rebecca replied, panic evident in her voice.

“I don’t know where exactly they are right now, so I don’t have a full idea of what’s happening. But… I think he’s going to hurt him. Maybe worse.”

Silence settled on the other end.

For a moment, Rebecca’s heart sank, half-expecting the woman to brush her off.

But then Melissa spoke, her voice low and firm. “Alright. Thank you for calling me. I know what to do.”

Rebecca smiled in relief. “Thank you. He’s at

Everyone was stunned by the unexpected turn of events. Timothy, who had been threatening to beat Oliver senseless just moments ago, was now kneeling before him!“What the hell is going on?” Trisha asked, staring at Timothy in disbelief. “Why’s he kneeling instead of pounding him?”“I have no damn clue… but this is humiliating!” Jay spat, his jaw clenched. “What’s going on inside that idiot’s head?”“Unbelievable… He even slapped both of you,” Sabrina muttered, glancing at the red marks on Jay’s and Denver’s faces.Denver stayed silent, fists clenched and teeth gritted. The public humiliation burned into him—something he couldn’t easily let go.Sabrina’s gaze shifted back to Timothy, her brow furrowed. “What the hell? Didn’t he recognize you two? Sure, he works in the underworld, but you’re both richer than him!”Jay didn’t respond. It was true, but here, it wasn’t about wealth—it was about influence and power. And in that regard, Timothy outranked them.“Sir Oliver… I’ll apologize

Trisha and Sabrina stood off to the side, eyes wide with terror as they watched Timothy beat Denver and Jay to a pulp.“My gosh, Trisha… What do we do?” Sabrina whispered, her hands trembling. “Should we try to stop him… or just get out of here?”“We can’t leave, Sab,” Trisha replied, voice low. “Denver might break up with me if I ditch him now. Besides, aren’t you trying to seduce Jay?”Sabrina nodded, managing a faint smirk. “I am, but if someone richer comes along, he’s out the door.”Trisha shook her head with a smile. “Keep dreaming. But until that happens, you’re stuck with Jay and his wallet.”“Right,” Sabrina said, though her face twisted in discomfort as she glanced back at Timothy. “But this… this is terrifying.”They watched in uneasy silence, thankful Timothy’s fury was aimed solely at Denver and Jay. They knew Timothy’s reputation—no one, not even women, was exempt from his wrath if they got in his way. All they could do was endure the scene. After what felt like an eter

“And why would you do that?” Rebecca asked, suspicious.Jay sighed, giving her a sad smile. “I owe you an apology, too. For how I used to act. I chased you around for so long, not accepting that you didn’t feel the same.”He leaned in, his gaze locking onto hers. “So now, I’d like to make it up to you instead.”His voice was calm, but something dark lingered beneath his words. But Rebecca failed to recognize it.“Fine,” she said, a small smile returning. “But just a light one.”Jay grinned and ordered a light drink from the bartender, who quickly prepared it and passed the glass to him.“Hey, I think you got a text,” Jay said, nodding toward her phone. “The screen lit up.”Rebecca picked it up, frowning. “No notification here. Maybe you’re just seeing things.”Jay shrugged. “Maybe I am. Anyway, here’s your drink.” He slid the glass toward her and raised his own. “Cheers?” Jay asked, smiling.Rebecca clinked her glass with his. “Cheers.”They both took a sip, and Rebecca finished he

“Hello, Melissa?” Oliver answered, still glancing back at Rebecca’s room.“Commander! I’m glad you’re okay!” Melissa sighed with relief. “I’m calling because there’s a video going viral of you fighting some guy…”Oliver’s brows knitted as he realized what she was referring to. It was his fight with Jay earlier.“Erase every trace of that footage,” Oliver instructed. “And do the same with any videos of Rebecca in this condition, if any exist.”“Understood,” Melissa confirmed.“Thanks, Melissa.” Oliver ended the call, just as the door behind him creaked open.Rebecca stood there without her clothes on.“Oliver…” she murmured, her voice low and sultry. “I’m feeling so hot… Can you help me with this?”He froze, stunned for a moment. As he regained senses, Oliver spun around, looking away. “Rebecca, go back to bed and sleep,” he told her, his voice steady but firm. “It’s just a side effect of the drug. It will wear off soon.”Rebecca didn’t respond right away. Instead, she moved closer, pr

The man grunted in annoyance. “Fucking bastard!”He stood up and attacked Oliver again. To his surprise, Oliver didn’t dodge and started fighting back.Oliver’s moves were few yet precise. In just four moves, the man stumbled to the floor, crouching in pain.“Shit!” the man groaned, holding his stomach.Phantom Order members were trained for resistance and endurance. They were wired not to feel too much pain, unlike the others. But for some reason, he felt excruciating pain with Oliver’s strong punches. He even coughed blood—something that didn’t happen to him before.“You are hurt by that?” Oliver asked mockingly. “But I held back. What could have happened if I didn’t?”Oliver’s tone was cold, causing the shivers to go to the man’s spine. ‘He isn’t an ordinary man. If this continues, I would lose. I need to change my plan.’And the man did. His plan to toy with Oliver was now gone. He was determined to defeat Oliver, no matter what method he would need to take.“You’re dead meat, bast

“What’s happening?” Trisha asked the bank teller, her brows furrowing.“I’m sorry, Ms. Trisha,” the bank teller said, sliding the necklace in front of her, “but you can’t withdraw the money even with the necklace present.”Trisha’s eyes widened, her hands slamming the desk in shock. “What? But I was told that it was written in the contract! What nonsense are you saying now?!”“The necklace is not the only thing you need, Ms. Trisha,” the bank teller explained, her eyes fixated on the screen. “You only need Mr. Oliver’s consent as well.”“O-Oliver’s what?” Trisha blinked in shock and clenched her fists. “That motherfucker stole my father’s necklace. And now, you’re telling me I need his consent?”“It wasn’t stolen. Mr. Cole Henverton really gave it to him.”The bank teller moved her monitor, making Trisha and Carolina see what was on her screen.“According to this, Mr. Cole placed Mr. Oliver as the necklace’s owner, which technically would be the same for the savings account…” she said

Why do you sound so happy?”“I got Dad’s necklace!” she said, giggling. “I never thought Oliver would dare steal something like this, but it’s not important now.”“Wait… What?” Carolina blinked in surprise. She stopped what she was doing—cleaning her nails while watching a soap opera on the television—and focused her entire attention on Trisha.“Oliver stole a necklace? And your father’s necklace, to top it all?” Carolina asked in disbelief.“Yes, Mom. I don’t know how he did that, though,” Trisha sneered. “But Mom, can you believe it? This necklace could withdraw money from Dad's savings account.”Trisha smiled, feeling the necklace in her hand.On the other hand, Carolina was shocked by the revelations. “Wh

No survivors.”The man clenched his jaw, his mind racing. ‘The Phantom Order, one of the most feared groups in the country, was wiped out just like that?’‘The Phantom Order members, one of the best gangs in this country, were eliminated in a snap?’“They were slaughtered,” added the voice on the other end, low and grave. “And I saw people cleaning up. Judging by their uniforms and equipment, they came from the capital.”Hearing those words, the man paused, then spoke. “Any idea who’s behind this?”“I don’t…” he muttered. “But I’ve received some intel. OLIVER BROUGHT Rebecca to a hospital. He called Melissa to help him hide this from anyone, avoiding the reporters to swarm in their location. Now, Rebecca was resting in a VIP room, while Oliver and Melissa were on the corner. They prevented making a loud sound that could hinder Rebecca from resting.“I talked with the doctor earlier. He said that Rebecca is already fine; she just needs to rest from exhaustion,” Melissa informed. “Also, the doctor gave her medicine, and she will return to her normal state once she wakes up.”Hearing those words made Oliver sigh in relief. At the same time, he remembered the fear in Rebecca’s eyes while looking at him.“Is something the matter?” Melissa asked, seeing the shift in Oliver’s expression. “If it’s about what happened in the warehouse, I sent personnel to clean them all.”“That’s not it.” Oliver shook his head. “Rebecca saw with her two eyes… how I killed those men.”If something like that happens again, Oliver won’t hesitate to do the same

Blood poured freely, and the man’s nose broke under the force. “Don’t bother deciding how you want to die now. I’ll choose for you.”He hurled the man against the wall again, surveying the damage. Broken nose, closed eyes, blood flowing from his mouth—all of it was enough to send a strange satisfaction onto Oliver’s body.“This is for kidnapping Rebecca,” Oliver said, driving his fist into the man’s jaw. “And this is for the order to kill me.” His next punch struck the man’s stomach with bone-crushing force, doubling him over in agony.“And this…” Oliver’s knee slammed into the man’s crotch,
