In 1999, there were no online shops, but I had the whole shop. All it took was a phone call, and they would send all the best items.

"You cannot do this here," a long hair woman named Dahlia protested to me.

"Why? I am a member of your flower club. And I help with the club accessories," I said nonchalantly, my gaze fixed on the couch that filled the club room.

I settled myself comfortably.

The club room, formerly a storage area, was spacious—akin to three classrooms merged into one.

I had purchased four large couches.

"But this isn't a necessity for the club," protested Rose, another club member.

"Don't worry, I use my personal money. And I have bought all the pots and all the flower seeds, the best fertilizers," I said, waving my hands dismissively. "They will arrive this afternoon. So, let’s say I am helping with the club."
