Chapter 87

Tommy Morgan's bodyguard, along with his partner, drove to the boutique. He entered the boutique to find the CCTV recordings and learn about the attacker. After questioning the staff and grabbing the CCTV tape, he walked out, ready to enter his car. But just as he settled into the seat, he felt the cold metal of a gun pressed against his head from behind. A voice whispered menacingly, “If I were you, I wouldn't move an inch.”

Suddenly, the car’s side door swung open, and someone struck his face, plunging him into darkness.

When he regained consciousness, he found himself in a large room, reminiscent of a basement. He and his friend were bound to chairs, facing a man wielding a military knife.

“Alright, Bernard,” the man said calmly looking at his id card from his wallet. “I’m going to ask you one thing: what were your orders from your boss if you found the attacker at the boutique?”
