"Can you send me all the data about Bolton’s from our intelligence to my fax?" I asked Natalia.

"Yes, we will proceed now," she replied, her voice crisp over the line.

"Good. I will give you strategic plans on how to face them in a few hours." I ended the call, my fingers lingering on the phone as a surge of adrenaline warmed my blood. War was the crucible where I discovered my true talent. And, regrettably, it was also where I felt most alive.
