128 – Run for Their Life

“I don’t know, Cody.” Luna replied.

“Well, I’ll have to gamble then.” Cody continued to concentrate on gathering his remaining power into his legs. The longer he waited, the more he realized that if he delayed this, it would be too late. His power would run out and he couldn’t do this anymore to escape.

Cody couldn’t make his legs like a kangaroo’s like that time. His power wasn’t enough for that. That’s why he used his liquify skill to make the muscles in his legs bigger. He also used his strength and speed enhanced skills, but only on his legs.

Luckily, he could still use some of his skills even though he couldn’t access his system.

Luna looked like she wanted to talk about Cody, who kept wincing. Cody was indeed in pain.

“Sorry.” Cody held his breath. “I’ll finish in a minute.”

However, Cody could only do that towards the evening. He didn’t want to go at night because his ability to see in the dark had decreased, so Cody stuck to his plan and lifted Luna’s body.
