179 – A Remnant

“So, you said that the remnant looks like a giant dragon?” Kevin, who was beside Cody, asked.

Cody, who was watching his troops, replied. “You’ve been asking that since yesterday. Didn’t you see something like Big John five years ago?”

“I know that.” Kevin rubbed his face. “But… Whatever.”

Cody got a visual of the remnant’s shape from some of his special zombies who were scouting. This time, no one shot them with beams, so they could watch from a distance.

But the remnant and his troops were beyond Cody’s expectations. It had been two days since he confirmed their arrival, but he found that those groups had stopped several times.

This gave Cody the impression that the remnant wanted to rest. Cody wondered. The remnant shouldn’t be tired from the journey.

Was this for the sake of his troops, who were regular mermaids? They could reach the surface in less than a day, but it had to be non-stop.
