Cody, now wearing the appearance of an old man with white hair, sat in his yard. Next to him was a little girl.

“Why did you have to move, Mr. Wolfe?” The little girl pouted. She wouldn’t look at Cody.

Cody chuckled. “I just wanted a change of scenery, Sasha. I’ve lived here for years. Maybe it’s time for me to go back to exploring the world.”

“But I enjoy talking to you. Your stories are always interesting, even though sometimes I’m not sure if they’re true or not. You might make them up.”

Cody laughed and stroked the little girl’s brown hair. “We can always video call each other.”

“My mom said that face-to-face conversations are always better…” Sasha found her mother waving at her from the house next door.

“I think it’s time for you to go home, Sasha.”

Sasha got off the chair and held out her pinky finger to Cody. “But you promised to call me, right?”
