67 – To Be Human

The following day, Cody placed DVDs on the table and sat on the couch. He was just trying out an old DVD player he found at Rubble. He fixed it and got it back on.

The six-armed zombie’s words yesterday still disturbed his mind. He didn’t expect Stella to be like that. Everything makes more sense now, but Cody remains confused about what to do.

Cody saw their car stop in front of the house. Because it uses a battery, Cody can barely hear the vehicle.

He got up and went out, then smiled at the three women.

“We got it all, Cody.” Gwen got out of the car, then took out two black devices with antennas. “And we finally found this.”

“That’s great.” Cody received the walkie-talkie while widening his smile to cover his mood. "We can communicate long distances around the farm."

Helena got out of the car too. “Stella is so badass. She is very thorough and can lift rubble so we can search easily.”
