Cody saw something descend after the flying figure had disappeared in the distance. In the beginning, he mistook it for an orange ball.

However, over time, he noticed it was a small parachute with something tied to the bottom.

Instead of running to catch that thing, Cody possesses one of his zombies, then runs in the direction the thing is likely to land.
