Jordan had already met lots of Zombies on the way, so it wasn't a big surprise when he was the number of Zombies trying to get inside the Humungous Mansion gates.

With a is Simple slash, the hoard was already destroyed. Looking at the large walls, Jordan used all his strength to leap as high as he could, jumping over the giant walls with ease.

"Is the mansion owner still here? They could hide here for days without worrying about the Zombies."

Looking around the small area between the mansion gates and the Mansion itself, there was nothing too interesting except some flowers and grass.

Jordan walked towards the gates, ready to take the Moon Sword out at any second if necessary. It could be that the Mansion owner was still inside and was just waiting for him to go inside. Hugo was closely following his from behind.

In the Apocalypse, no one could be trusted. Survival was the only important thing and Humans would do anything for that. They were greedy creatures, ready to kill each other at the cost of survival. Be it their wife, children, family, or friend, for them, it didn't matter.

'It's unlocked.'

"Maybe someone ran out or Inside and forgot to lock it... But that doesn't make sense... Why would they run out of a safe place? Or why would they run inside but forget to lock the door where there are Zombies outside? It has to be a trap.'

Jordan walked inside and tried to sense if anyone was there. Hugo was also smalling the air to sense if someone was there or not.

'No one?'

Jordan roamed around the mansion for a few minutes, trying to get familiar with the surroundings.

'Now... I'm not sure that gate can handle that many Zombies at once...'

Blinking at the sudden Notifications screen, Jordan clicked the {Home Protection} button.

Jordan clicked the 'Yes' button and another screen appeared.

Jordan clicked 'yes' again and immediately a large amount of energy was released and surrounded the entire Mansion. He could sense the energy was strong, but it wasn't strong enough to overpower his own energy.

Looking at the cheap amount of shop points needed, Jordan was surprised. He hadn't eaten for hours and was pretty hungry and thirsty so he clicked 'yes'.

As soon as he did so, a plate appeared on the table. The plate was filled with hot pasta and a normal-sized water bottle next to it. A spoon and a form were both placed beside the plate.

Hugo had already gone out, exploring the area surrounding the mansion while Jordan filled his stomach with food and quenched his thirst by drinking water.

It was already night so he decided to go to sleep and think about it tomorrow.

"So they started to help them..." A dark voice resounded through a pitch-black room.

"I can't believe they started to act. I thought they would stay quiet and let that place be destroyed like all the others... What was the planet's name again? Oh, right! Earth!"

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

The sound of laughing suddenly echoed throughout the dark room. The... Thing... Continued to laugh loudly as if it had just experienced something hilarious.

"THOSE PATHETIC GODS! THEY THINK THEY CAN DEFEAT ME! GIVING THOSE WEAK CREATURES SOME SMALL WEAK ABILITY DOESN'T MAKE A DIFFERENCE! THEY ARE JUST PUNY BUGS THAT WILL BE CRUSHED BY MY SINGLE FINGER!"

"But that wouldn't be fun. Now would it?"

Another voice filled the room.

"It would be more fun if we send out Kotetsu don't you think so? Those who survive will be the feast."

"Kotetsu? That super weak ghoul? Hmm... What you say makes sense. Those Humans would still be demolished anyway so I don't really care much."

"I still can't believe those devils would go after Earth!" Spoke a voice angrily.

"They are randomly guessing in which planet that THING is in." Spoke a soft voice.

"What if they sent out more devils to attack Earth? What then? One devil is enough to destroy that planet, the planet is too weak to withstand a simple power from the devil!" Spoke a panicked voice.

"I wouldn't even be surprised if they did. They are probably already suspicious that we have sent the small powers to the Humans."

"It's a good thing we only gave weak abilities. If we had given stronger abilities then they would have surely sent some upper dark members. Right now, they should be debating on the fact if this is a trap or not. After all, they only sent a very low-ranked demon to deal with it."

"We can't go there as well! Why if they find out THAT is there? What then?"

"If they do find THAT... Then all hope is lost. The Universe, The gods, and existence itself would be destroyed by their hands."
