Chapter 104: Old Matters

Allan had confined Enda for ten agonizing days, subjecting her to repeated assaults, beatings, humiliations, and treating her no better than a kicked dog. With the added crime of cold-blooded murder, he was sentenced to life imprisonment.

Now, understanding from the outside that the apocalypse had occurred and no one could control him, he felt an unsettling ease in his demeanor.

"Why such coldness? To see an old friend and not offer a single greeting? Quite unlike your younger brother." Allan remarked.

As he spoke, Allan’s hand swiftly moved to Enda’s face, turning it to meet his, and bit down on his lips. Almost immediately, Caradoc lunged forward, slamming a shoulder into Allan’s midriff.

"What do you think you’re doing? Keep your hands off what’s mine!" he growled.

"Choke...!"
