Hubert made his way to Canis's room, now emptied of visitors save for the medic, Winston, who remained behind to administer care. Employing his Clairvoyance, Hubert surveyed the landscape through the towering trees. In the forest, a group of more than ten people besieged a mutated lion. The source of the Fire-type Superpower energy was indeed this lion. From its movements and the way it evaded each blow, it could be discerned that it was at the peak of the third level or, at most, the beginning of the fourth level. However, its maneuvers were elegant, like wind breezing through the trees. Still, the attacker was no less swift, flinging fireballs with one hand and a flame net with the other, relentlessly pursuing the fleeing lion. This likely explained the origin of the energy.
