002: Strange necklace

Mo Shen slowly raised his hands, performing his skills.

"Heavenly golden fist: first stage; destroying mountains!" shouted Lu shang as he took his stance, ready to at least counter Mo Shen attack which he knew isn't going to be easy.

Lu Shang's fist started to glow a golden yellow light, and his fist started going toward Mo Shen.

With only an inch left to hit his target, Mo Shen performed his footwork combined with his newly learned skill, "windflaming fist."

"Wind flaming fist!"

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Before Lu shang fist could reach Mo Shen.

THUD!

He was already sent flying, crashing into the nearby wall again because it was already too late to dodge the punch of Mo shen.

"Do you think you can defeat me, or you overestimate yourself?" Mo Shen sneered and ran towards Lu Shang to continue beating him.

As Mo Shen got close to Lu Shang, ready to launch punch after punch on him.

"STOP!" Came the loud voice of a guard who entered the training hall.

The fight was stopped by the interruption of a guard.

"Everybody's attention is needed at the hall; you are all ordered to be there by the sect leader, failure to comply would lead to been punished." the guard announced to the people in the training hall.

Everybody was disappointed because the fight between Lu Shang and Mo Shen was stopped.

"Thank your star," Mo Shen snickered before walking to the hall as the guard commanded.

After all the disciples left the training hall, Lu Xun ran to meet Lu Shang and gave him a pill to help heal his injuries.

"Junior brother Shang, how are you doing now?" Lu Xun, who was almost in tears, asked.

"Fine, just a few minor injuries, and why are your eyes teary?" Lu shang sigh before trying to get up only to fall back to the ground again because he was already too weak to stand properly.

"It was my fault; I'm not strong enough to help young brother," Lu Xun sadly said.

"Who told you it was your fault? Don't worry about me, senior sister." Lu Shang weakly smile to cheer her mood up.

"I can't just bear to see you go through this pain." Lu Xun was heartbroken to see Lu Shang in a situation like this.

"Let's go to the hall before we miss what is going to be said there," said Lu shang before trying to stand up with the help of Lu xun.

"Let's be fast before we are going to get punished for disobeying the authority."

The two walked out, going to the direction of the hall where everyone was asked to be at.

20 minutes later, Lu Shang and Lu Xun step inside the hall.

The moment Lu Shang and Lu Xun stepped into the hall, everybody turned, and the crowd started laughing and whispering within themselves.

"Quiet!!!

The sect leader yelled out in anger, and his aura of the late stage of the spirit emperor realm came down upon the disciples. The crowd immediately kept quiet and felt as if a mountain was placed upon their heads.

All the sect disciples look at the sect leader with fear and respect.

"I called you here to inform you about the change of things we have decided for the sect." The sect leader stood with a careless attitude and was looking down on the junior disciples as if they were ants.

"What we decided is that anybody who is not able to get to the 5th stage of the body enhancer realm before the age of 13 will be chased out of the sect," inform the sect leader, who was looking at the disciples.

"And that is the what we want to inform you about; have a wonderful night with a wonderful stay," the sect leader walked out of the hall stage after giving the announcement.

Hearing the announcement, Lu Shang's hands were clenched due to his helplessness.

Lu Shang was in the 2nd stage of the body enhancer realm and was 12 years old at the moment, and Mo Shen was already in the 4th stage of the body enhancer realm.

Far away from Lu Shang, Mo Shen and his friends had mockery in their eyes. Even some people who disliked Lu Shang had unwillingness and sympathy in their eyes.

Under everyone's mocking and sympathetic gazes, he felt pain, and Lu Shang lowered his head.

"Lu Shang, don't think about it too much." Lu Xun walked over and said to Lu Shang

"Thank you, senior sister, I will be on my way now." Lu Shang said and started walking home.

"Bye and take care of yourself," shouted Lu Xun to Lu Shang, who was already far away from Lu Xun.

Lu Shang was walking home when memories of his life started to appear one after the other in his mind.

He was a weakling and was bullied by everybody, looked upon as an insect by his mates. Going through different pains and torture from those in the clan.

"I need to work harder on my cultivation or I am going to be pushed out of the sect." Lu Shang made up his mind and promised himself to get stronger to be able to protect himself from bullies.

Lu Shang began to whisper, nodding his head along the way as he head back to his apartment.

While Lu Shang was about walking pass a garden, he turned his head and his eyes fall on something.

He halt in his step, looking inside the garden. "What is that?" He was confused.

His eyes locked onto a transparent and glowing something near the garden.

"Let me check it out," decided Lu Shang and he walked into the garden to check the object on the ground.

Only to see that the object was a shining necklace on the floor.

'Hmmm, such a beautiful and expensive-looking necklace, which can be sold for thousands of gold coins, that's a very big sum of money that I can use to get cultivation techniques and other resources to increase in my cultivation,' Lu Shang thought in his heart and was shocked at seeing such a necklace.

'Something seems strange about this necklace; I have been passing through here for days and I even pass here this morning but I never came across this necklace; I wonder who lost such a precious and expensive necklace,' thought Lu shang before picking up the necklace.

He then started looking around to see if anybody was looking in his direction, but fortunately nobody was paying attention to him.

Lu Shang quickly kept the necklace inside his pocket and continued on his way home.

Lu Shang got home after walking for some minutes and went inside his apartment before locking the door to prevent people from seeing what he was going to do.

What was on his mind right now, was the necklace he found.

Lu Shang sat on his small bed placed in the corner of his room, before bringing out the necklace.

"Who owns this strange necklace?"Lu Shang, who was observing the strange necklace closely questioned himself.

"It should fit me," Lu Shang decided to put on the strange necklace and the necklace fit him perfectly well.

"Excellent," There was a wide grin on his face as face.

He was about taking off the strange necklace from his neck, when he felt a little connection within his heart.

"What is this strange thing I felt within myself?" Lu Shang thought out of fear and quickly remove the necklace from his neck, throwing it far away at the other end of the room.

Suddenly the strange necklace started glowing brightly, Lu shang looked at the necklace and he was unable to continue looking at the light. He closed his eyes in unwillingness.

"What is happening?, Is this a blessing or a bad day for me? I am not sure if I am going to survive this mysterious light," thought Lu Shang, whose eyes were close.

Unknown to him, the strange necklace was floating in mid air and moving closely toward his position. Right at that moment, the strange necklace was close to Lu Shang.

Lu Shang suddenly forced open his eyes only to see the strange necklace close to him.

"Where the heck is this strange necklace from?" said Lu Shang, who was trying to move away from his position only to discover that he wasn't able to move away from it due to an unknown strange power holding him down in position.

His leg began to tremble on the ground, suddenly sweat started to pour out of his body profusely.

When the strange necklace got to Lu Shan, surprisingly, the necklace started merging into his chest slowly, bit by bit.

Lu Shang was surprised by this.

"What is happening?" He screamed in fear.

Strange things started to take place in his room.

"Wait.. That is the ability of space and time; everything is moving slowly and everywhere is slowly stopping to move" There was a strange expression on his face mixed with shock and surprise.

"Arrrgghhhhhh.." Lu Shang started shouting without the ability to stop himself from shouting , he started feeling sleepy and he tried controlling himself from sleeping.

Lu Shang's eyes started closing slowly until he fell to the floor unconsciously.
