The night soon came to an end, and when morning arrived, Yin Deng woke due to the sun shining into his eyes. He looked around and saw that he was still in the same position as when he slept on the hill behind the lake. He checked himself over; all seemed fine, so he checked behind him to find Xiangling not there.

"Xiangling?" He called out. There was no reply. Yin Deng searched around the hill but could not find her anywhere. "Where are you, Xiangling?" "Where have you gone?" He wondered.

He walked out of the hill to the lake behind the hill only to find Xiangling there. She sat on the edge of the lake, staring at it. Yin Deng went down to the shore and sat next to her.

She turned toward him with a smile on her face. "Sleepy head, you are finally awake," she said.

Yin Deng nodded. "Hope you enjoyed your sleep?" He asked.

"I did," Xiangling replied.

Yin Deng laughed. "You must have gotten cold."

Xiangling shook her head. "No, I dozed off because I was so tired after the long journey."
