Once they reached the place where the door was, they stopped and looked around. There were three doors in front of them.

"You three have to choose your own door."

They all turned and faced each other. "Choose our own door?"

"Yes. You guys have to pass through the trail yourself without anybody with you, so you have to depend on yourself from now on," the voice said.

"What are we supposed to do after that?" "What will happen to us?"

"That's up to you guys, but it is not a small task you need to accomplish. I'm sure you won't be able to proceed further if you don't choose your own path correctly."

The voice didn't say anything else. The three of them stood there for a while, looking at their feet as though they would find an answer in the grass or something. But they still couldn't come up with any answers. They thought for some time more before finally deciding what they had to do.
