working in a scary shop

　In front of the station at dusk, it was crowded with people returning home. As if to escape from the stuffy atmosphere, I parked my bike at random and entered the coffee shop where I met Takenaka-san.

　The air conditioning works well, and the sweat on my forehead cools down in an instant when I go inside.

　Inside the small and stylish shop, there are a group of high school girls on their way home from club activities, a young man who seems to be a university student with his study materials spread out, and a woman drinking coffee while operating a computer with one hand.

　It seems that Mr. Takenaka hasn't come yet.

　I ordered an iced coffee at the counter and a cranberry scone that looked awfully delicious through the showcase, and I chose a table in the back and sat down.

　I usually don't go into this kind of place casually, so I'm nervous, so I put a green straw in and sip my iced coffee.
