bab 5 Automatic Door part 4

The automatic door, which had been left open until now, closed with great force, and then opened again. I thought it was closed again, and opened again without permission.

The automatic door began to open and close repeatedly in front of me.

"……little by little"

As expected of me, I also felt creeped out by that, and involuntarily took a half step back.

Every time it opens and closes, mechanical sounds and chimes resound intermittently.

Could it be... isn't it a malfunction...? Because it's obviously funny.

"Uhi -"

That's when I unintentionally let out a stupid voice.

I don't know how to put it into words, but it felt like something had passed right next to my right leg.

A cool breeze brushed against my right leg.

 What is it…….

Raise your face while rubbing the goose bumps on your legs.

Then, the automatic door, which had repeatedly opened and closed until now, closed quietly, and then it repeatedly opened and closed and did not open on its own.

It's strange to say this to the door, but he seemed to have regained his composure.

"--Hakamada-kun."

"Ah... Aoyama-san!"

When I turned around after being called, Mr. Aoyama came out of the restroom at the back of the store with a refreshing look on his face.

Apparently this guy was in the bathroom the whole time I was wrestling with the crazy automatic door.

"I was wondering where you went."

"I'm sorry, I've been constipated for four days, and I've finally been able to get it out as I want...!

Whoa, whoa, don't tell me such a real story.

“Besides, why is Hakamada-kun standing here?”

"Ah, that's it..."

Tell everything that happened while Mr. Aoyama was away.

"Is this automatic door broken?"

When I pointed to the automatic door that had become completely quiet now and said, Aoyama-san's mouth trembled for some reason and he let out a loud voice.

 Wow, what a surprise.

Aoyama-san, who was swinging his arms and showing signs of fear, made me feel even more creepy than the rough automatic door earlier.

“You came again…!?”

"teeth……?"

Aoyama-san's fearful words made me wrinkle my eyebrows and leave me blank.

"Sometimes, after about two o'clock, the door suddenly opens and closes...!

While saying this, Aoyama-san brought her face close to my ear and whispered in a low voice.

"Actually, there's a little boy playing in and out of the door..."

"Eh... a little boy... what is it?"

Feeling numb again at the blowing breath, I listened back while holding my ears.

"Boy Ghost"

“Yu, a ghost?!”

"Yes, Takenaka-kun told me that there was a boy playing in front of the door."

Would a normal person be scared here?

As soon as I heard that story, I thought it smelled like a phony, so I can't help it.

"Is that true?"

“Oh no, you don’t believe me?!”

"Hmm... I can't quite believe such an invisible story."

Somehow, I can only think of it as a malfunction.

If I could see that boy, I wouldn't think so.

"It's rare, when you hear this story, most people get creeped out and quit the next day."

 What?

"Are you saying this to scare me?"

"No, it's all true. If you meet Takenaka-kun, you'll understand."

"..."

 Takenaka-san is someone else...

I haven't met him yet, but he seems kind of shady.

Judging from Aoyama-san's story, he must be the guy who says he can see ghosts.

In the first place, it seems like a lie to say that you can see ghosts or that boys are coming and going.

And other people are other people. How can you believe such unsubstantiated things that strangers said.

 Ghosts don't really exist.

"Well, it might last longer if you don't bend your own thoughts like that."

Aoyama-san said with a wry smile to me, who had an expression that didn't make sense.

And then, until the sun rose, nothing remarkable happened, and my first part-time job at a convenience store ended.

I don't know. To be honest, it's still a mystery, but I don't think there's any need to make a fuss about it as being the work of a spirit.

I only believe what I have seen with my own eyes.

 Unbelievable.

I don't want to be frightened or surprised by someone else's words.

"It's quite late at night, but it's not easy."

No guests come. I'm bored. Rubbing my sleepy eyes, I rode my bike and ran on the road lit by the morning sun to return to my apartment.

 A few days later.

When I witnessed a strange shadow projected on the security camera during a break, I unintentionally spit out my drink...

That event was one of the first things that happened, and it would be a while before I knew that something even worse would happen.
