Shawn Pendragon, a seventeen-year-old boy, was living an ordinary life on earth. He was a student at Jefferson High School. Just like other people, he had a low profile. He loved keeping things private, never posting on social media about what was going on in his life, and never trusting anyone, not even his own family and closest friends. That day, about one o'clock in the afternoon, Shawn and his best friend, Justin Meyer, were crossing the highway when a rushing ambulance suddenly appeared. His friend managed to survive, but he was unfortunately hit and died on the spot. That ambulance didn't have a chance to bring him to a hospital; he was brought to a morgue instead. "Where am I?" Shawn wondered when he opened his eyes and found out he was lost in the middle of nowhere. It was a place he had never been—the place where his new journey was about to begin.

Franklin's poisoned hands touched the wall, and immediately, the snake-like venom with which his hands decorated crawled up the walls. Tightening itself over the blocks, making the little crumbles gather on the forest floor, dying along with everything around it, Franklin watched as his poison worked on the walls. “Stop, this is unlike you. You can always change yourself,” said a voice that Franklin did not acknowledge at first. “You don't know me. I was born for domination and conquering.” He said as though he was trying to convince himself. “You are a giver of life. What gives you the right to think like that?” The female's voice was angry now. She emerged from the trees to stand before him. “I am a feeder of light, nothing more. I will conquer all who thought I was weak,” Franklin said, seething with anger now looking at who it was. “You think you're so bold, follow me and let's find out,” Lily said as she started running the opposite way. She aimed to let him come jolting out of his reverie, and if she tried all, then so be it. With a growling snarl, Franklin stopped forcing the walls to come down and took off after Lily. He had the mission to eliminate her once and for all.

She barely dodged her attack, throwing her body to the ground of the arena. The audience behind the flimsy fence roared and cheered in a frenzy. They were packed tight around the rocky walls, thirsting for blood. The fallen girl heaved, holding her weapon tight. Standing up, she narrated, "Someone once joked 'Go to Heaven for the climate, Hell for the company'. Only fools can believe this to be true." Her opponent cackled with a smirk, ready for another attack. "Do you want to know what it's like down here? Well, let me tell you.” The woman in question entered this world as a very old and very ill woman. Surrounded by her loved ones, she closed her eyes and entered a hell-like dimension. It resembled a large city floating on a lake of lava, called Helltown. With very little resources, she had to find a way to survive. Luckily, there was hope. The woman used a spell to become a beautiful young woman with super strength. Disguised, she fought demons, escaped the slums, ended up in a brothel and then as a gladiator in an arena. With many enemies and shifty allies, she finally managed to catch a break and get to the top floors, where the intrigues truly start. Along the way, we learn more about her life on Earth and the possible reasons for her being there. Can she stay sane among such evil? What is Helltown, and does it affect the life on Earth? A lot, actually.
