Kasack’s Shame 2
Kingsman Return/Kuraii
As soon as the darkness receded, Arran’s and Kasack’s figures were revealed. In the entire 5-kilometer area surrounding Arran, only the of them remained. The rest had all seen their bodies completely vaporizing along with their souls under Arran’s attack. Kasack’s body was motionless and while he seemed alright physically, there didn’t appear to be any signs of life within him at all. Noticing this, Arran was incredulous. He could scarcely believe what he was seeing at all. ‘Have I succeeded? Did I kill him, truly?’ Arran was in doubt. He found it difficult to believe that he had managed to actually kill Kasack… this formidable enemy. Not only Arran but the others on the battlefield. When they — Aeth, humans, and dark creatures — saw Kasack’s body remaining unmoving after appearing from the blank patch of darkness formed from Arran’s attack, they were dumbfounded, frozen, and a little shell-shocked from disbelief as they all considered an absurd possibility. ‘Is this truly
Kasack’s Shame 3
Kingsman Return/Kuraii
“You deserve death!” “All of you deserve death!!!” Kasack in his fury exploded like a loose fuse igniting a stack of dynamite. His aura explosively surged outward affecting everybody on the battlefield including his army. The sudden turn of events caught everybody off guard. Arran and his allies weren’t so shocked as they expected some form of retaliation from Kasack. But the dark creatures and monsters were shocked by the sudden outflow of murderous intent surging towards them. They didn’t know how to react to Kasack’s declaration of death upon everybody, unable to tell if he was referring to them or their enemies. One dark creature that was relatively closer to Kasack — a daemon breed of some kind that possessed superior intelligence compared to the others in the army — stepped forward to ask sychophantly. “Lord, are you feeling alright? Should we resume our assault on the enemies?” Dark creatures and monsters unlike evil entities like vengeful souls and spirits were character
Turning Fake To Real… True Reality Bending
Kingsman Return/Kuraii
The blood sea surged forward, washing through the crowd like a flood. The dark creatures and monsters closest to Kasack were the first to bear the impact. Turning illusions into reality — this is one of the hallmarks of a Shade Lord’s ability. The blood sea washed over the dark creatures on the battlefield, drowning them. Ghostly specters of fallen beings emerged from the blood sea emitting hair-raising and blood-curdling wails that sent shivers through those who heard it, leaving them frozen in shock. Then from within the blood sea broken limbs leaped out, latching onto the stunned victims they attacked and pulled them into the depths of the blood sea. The dark creatures were unable to resist. After losing their ability to move, their bodies were grabbed by different hands whose sharp claws dug into their flesh as if to dig out their organs. Severed legs leaped out of the blood sea kicking at them with powerful force, breaking every bone in their bodies and heads like ravenous
Turning Real To Fake… True Reality Bending 2
Kingsman Return/Kuraii
Reality Bending… the power to alter and change reality itself and determine its effects according to one’s will. This is a rare and powerful ability that is highly sought after by everyone yet few were able to possess it. But among the few that could in the entire universe, Shade Lord and all those at their levels, like the royal council members, could wield this power. That’s right. What others sought after all their lives, for some was only a natural development of all their powers that resulted after reaching a certain level of strength and unlike other types of reality-bending abilities, theirs was by far a stronger and complete version. Why was this so? Well, because of one single reason… level! To put this into context, Colonel Vehe possessed a reality-bending ability. He could set rules that affected reality forcing it to operate according to the rules he had set. But the scale of this power is very limited because of his level. The colonel was but a mere first-order t
Earth’s Barrier Is Breached!
Kingsman Return/Kuraii
Die! It was a single command behind which lay an indomitable intent brokering no defiance. Just then, Arran felt his body react to Kasack’s command. It slowly shut down as the life quickly drained from him. Arran was shocked. “Is this the difference between us? Is it truly this great?” Arran thought this just as his life quickly drained away. Just a single word and his life was at an end. But arran didn’t panic. He didn’t resist at all knowing it was futile but even then, the radiance of the milky starlight became even more brilliant and the life that was draining away from arran suddenly stopped before quickly recovering once more. The World Essence Pulse Bracers naturally protected Arran, preventing him from dying so needlessly. Seeing this, Kasack frowned, his anger growing even more incensed. Without hesitation, he fashioned a long blade out of darkness and rushed toward Arran. In an instant, Kasack appeared beside Arran, his movement illusory like a ghost. Sweeping widely
Blood Sea Frenzy
Kingsman Return/Kuraii
As soon as Earth’s barrier was broken, everything about the planet was revealed. Not only its distorted form but also the auras of every life existing on the planet along with a faint presence that was just barely hidden. Nobody sensed this presence for it was masked by the aura of life on the planet. This aura of like, like the most delicious delicacy sent the blood sea into a frenzy. The blood sea after manifesting in reality was attracted to the aura of life which it sought to consume on instinct. Before, with the earth’s barrier present, the aura of life on the planet could not leak out. But now that it was broken, everybody could sense it. Like an infant that had just developed sentience, the blood sea rushed frenziedly toward Earth. It possessed a nascent intelligence that was formed from the collective consciousness of souls that fell within the sea, but this intelligence was very primitive and only functioned on instinct. And right now, its instinct was telling it to devou
Awakening! Soran!
Kingsman Return/Kuraii
The battle zone was tough yet it seemed isolated from Kasack and Arran’s fight. Kasack didn’t care about Earth anymore. Compared to it, he was more focused on killing Arran in the most gruesome manner possible. As for the resistance against the blood sea by the Aeth, he wasn’t bothered. Sure Eris and Charmy had succeeded in blocking the blood sea for now but that was simply because it was newly manifested and didn’t have enough power. With the sparks of the Immortal Ent’s Verdure and the Charm Speaker’s Crown, they could fight the Blood Sea, but as long as it continued devouring flesh and blood, the Blood Sea would gradually grow stronger until the girls couldn’t fight back at all. Kasack had basically lost his mind only focusing on arran and not even caring about Earth and the spark of the universe’s origin hidden in it. But he wasn’t completely far gone knowing that if he spent too much time the Aeth reinforcements might arrive. While focusing on attacking Arran, with a thought,
Awakening! Soran!
Kingsman Return/Kuraii
An unfamiliar voice sounded in Arran’s mind, speaking to him. The words the voice uttered were filled with reproachful disappointment but also supreme confidence as if the situation Arran was faced with was of no consequence at all. Just after hearing this voice, Arran’s consciousness was suddenly pulled inward and he found himself inside his dreamscape. Here, three stars shone brightly above providing infinite light to the entire dreamscape with the highest of the three stars shining the brightest among all of them. These three stars were the cores of Arran natal weapon, Star Trinity. Of the three of them, Arran was already acquainted with two of them, Zaburi and Veil. As for the last star, although it shone the brightest, its presence was greatly withdrawn and silent as if it was asleep. In all the years that had passed, arran had never succeeded in connecting to the consciousness of that star. It had always remained asleep, refusing every time to connect with arran. But at

Kingsman Return/Kuraii
When Arran woke up, he was met with darkness once more. What had seemed like a long time had passed turned out to only be an instant in reality. It was like he had never entered his dreamscape at all, as if everything was an illusion fashioned by his desire for a miracle. But Arran knew it was real because the proof of it all was right in his hand. Right now, he was wielding a different weapon from before. It was a long staff, dark as the blackest obsidian with hoop-like white rings etched on its body in looping patterns. Grasping the long staff, Arran felt its weight lying heavily in his hand with rough grainy lines creating a texture akin to polished wood that felt comfortable against the grip of his palm. The staff was about 2.1 meters long, its length towering over Arran by a few centimeters. While wielding the staff, a surge of confidence unmistakably grew within Arran as if with only it in his hands, Arran could overturn the heavens. Soran’s voice came into Arran’s mind a
Triumph! 2
Kingsman Return/Kuraii
Arran hadn't yet experienced Soran’s ability for himself. Yet the feelings he got while holding the staff made him believe that he could fight Kasack on equal ground and even defeat him. Whereas, Kasack was filled with shock from having his power broken through. Just then, when Arran broke the darkness surrounding him, Kasack had felt a powerful force hitting him which sent him retreating away and losing control of his body for a moment. When Kasack regained his footing, he looked around in alarm wondering where that force had come from and thinking that perhaps the Aeth reinforcements had arrived. Thinking of this, Kasack was reminded of when he and Arran had first met and he had been prevented from killing the young man through the intervention of Commander Margo and her team. Remembering the sorry state he had been left in back then and thinking that it was happening all over again, Kasack gnashed his teeth in rage and looked around fiercely, ready to fight whoever interrupted
