Chapter 31 - Boredom
After an unorthodox thought of flames and explosions, my mind was more intrigued with perfecting my own techniques. I was forever lacking in athletic ability, but never was I last in my studies of Flame Art. As this was the one thing I excelled at I placed profound serious and diligence in it. However, that would have to wait as it was time for more hellish training. The mere thought of it sent an unpleasant sensation throughout my body. Simply put, it pissed me off. *** 2-Hour Endurance Training. (4 Sets) *** Extreme Trunk Training. (2-hour x 4 Sets) *** Weight Training. *** Sprinting. (200 Laps) *** After another exhausting session of hardening the body's muscles, and spirit, a break was taken. The students never piled up into one group, rather multiple groups spread all around that space. From the scurrying classmates all around the area, two male students sat on a small hill besides a small tree. They had spent half of the day with training their bodies' and breaki

We repeated the same training, regardless if we dreaded it. And, for the next days to come, it was the same grilling ordeal. Surprisingly, on one particular occasion, I noticed that I could lift more everyday objects with ease when compared to before. That meant that my muscles were becoming stronger, with the aid from the body reformation technique. For others, it may have been normal, but to me, I cried a tear of joy. Though I absolutely won't admit it. "On a particular weekend, we'll be visiting the city of Grubsennahoj." Ms. Relka spoke out to the class. *** On the 5th day… The types of classes Knights can be, are a variant of accumulated skills and innate talent. Since all overall abilities are accounted for while in selection. However, through careful analysis when doing training exercises and other types of training, those classes can be identified. Because of their dominating speeds, Cai and Nyiko were assigned as "Assassin-class." Mixo was assigned the "Swordsman-cl

The additional instructor placed a file to a desk with Inoyva's face with other details, and his Amadioha highlighted. He was not the only due to a fact that all other students in Class 12-C were placed to the table along with their highlighted Amadioha. She focused a portion of her attention to them but passed glances towards Ms. Relka to the side. Unlike she, who found it quite interesting, the students' abilities that is, Ms. Relka peered to a hustle and bustle all around. Her diligence as an instructor prompted unflinching concentration to her responsibilities. Interestingly, the additional Instructor would lightly pat Ms. Relka on her back. Her approach was truly sincere but under the rules of ethical behavior, she was overstepping her boundaries and acting presumptuous. "You have a good batch here, Rivoni." Ms. Relka who groaned at the sensation of her body being touched even though only the layer of clothing was the only part touched, shifted her eyes and broke unflinchin

To slay them, even a strong Knight wouldn't have the required strength which would in turn slice their necks entirely, therefore slashing the nape was the preferred solution as this would achieve a similar effect. *** "Soldiers are always as big as a Sykoh. Guards are much larger than a Sykoh, and the boss will often vary in size!" Mr. Pillar would oversee every one of our movements. Despite the fact of that we numbered to twenty while he was only one man, he could tell inconsistencies from what he instructed us to do, with the actual action taken. And he was not shy in correcting these mistakes with more harsh methods… The entire class was focused on slashing and slicing. Students with relatively low cutting power were clustered to deal with day-class dummies. In order to deal more damage, sword training was required. Since our weapons could be switched down to size, until we reach an Abyss, it didn't hamper our movements, while levitating. Cai and I, as well as majority i

Chapter 35 - Presence
Saturday, afternoon. It was that time. Candidates, the students of elite academies resided at their dormitory buildings for the majority of the time of the initial start of the training period, but strangely enough were permitted to go out on the weekend. To that temporary new sense of freedom looming in their grasps, majority of them left to dabble in relaxation and have fun since this was the time prying eyes from instructors could not reach them. It was also time to heal tired bodies and stimulate hormones responsible for pleasure and joy. Setra residence. From the large mansion, into one of the rooms, a reality channel aired in the spacious living room. It was loud enough to encompass their entire room but the sole person in the room was neither listening nor focusing her eyes at the screen. “Ladies and gentlemen! Her debut was the cause of many suitors’ hearts to fall into disarray! Her latest achie

There, resided a body of water with a jet-black shade. Surrounding this water was a vast space of darkness of sparkling lights in it. Where… am I? “You are… worthy. Young Abyssinal Lord.” What? She now a third time heard that voice again. This deep voice which vibrated in her eyes was surely of a Giant’s. Said voice was so deep, that even her very existence feared. Strangely thereafter, Cai caught hints of commotion in the background as another sudden flash of light streamed passed and dissipate again. She returned to the park. The maiden regained a calmer perspective now, but breathed heavily. Its dreary echo unpleasantly terrifying than any other thing she had ever listened to, ”What was that?!” Cai firmly held the clothes on her chest. Her heartbeat sped up, accompanied by her eyes racing. Unusually, she noticed a flash of darkness from the bird on her hand. A black energy swirled up from the bird’s wound and disappeared. *** “Second Coming of the Inferno” convention. A

Chapter 37 - Thrill
Ntsako recalled hearing a “whooshing” sound coming from behind. Despite being able to catch the sound, he could not stare behind to identify but it was definitely a projectile, a technique from a Destroyer Art. Not knowing what technique it may have been, but would ultimately cause harm to his body, he proceeded to evade swiftly. Taking a leapt a few meters into the air, it would pass beneath. He was correct in doing so. Surprisingly, the projectile that was thrown grazed a part of some objects on the ground, passing by blasting through. The light induced projectile left a long continuous streak on the middle of the wall Ntsako was previously running parallel across. Not forgetting the individuals who launched a threatening projectile in the first place, Ntsako required to do everything in his power to get away from them indefinitely. Therefore, he turned right into a narrow passageway riddled with boxes, ladders and all kinds of equipment used. As of yet, the 3 pursuers followe

Bombarded by slight surges of information, Ntsako took in his current situation and surroundings to every detail. As of yet, communication between the opposing sides was not developed, confrontation was inevitable, so too being conflict. Ntsako realized then. He passed the residential area, crossing the street, well more like jumping over it into a large facility. ‘This is a… school?’ More or less, he found a secluded space where they could finally duke it out. A highschool with 2 buildings! One building with 3 floors, the other with 2 floors! As an overall place of study and all things devoted towards that, Ntsako felt slight guilt for the damages to come. He safely got on to the sacred ground AS the flames on his feet were once again witnessed on his hands, too. The pursuers also followed. BLAZE ART: BLITZ BLAST DANCE! Ntsako proceeded to conjure a tiny bit of light from one of his fingers, then swiftly launched on the ground he was upon. A small dust cloud emerged due to the s

Chapter 39 - Unraveling Dust
The paved over ground which was walked upon by tens of thousands of pupils before for a significant amount of years, unfortunately was currently covered by a thin layer of dust which steadily dissipated to reveal marks of destruction and fire. A confrontation between the two sides that dealt such damages to the land would anticipate an attack from the enemy and they would evidently counterattack, leading to more damage of the surrounding area. That could not be avoided due to a fact that they stood toe-to-toe with each other, more conflict brewed. Ntsako quickly glanced in front of him in order to identify whoever was at the forefront and blocked the technique from the previous Destroyer Art, that being Flame Art. When the dust cleared, with no other obstacle obstructing his view, he could finally see it was. On the very top of a clear, flame wall of a strange origin, a figure was revealed to be Inoyva. To his surprise, Ntsako would widen his eyes indefinitely. He hadn’t expecte

Suddenly, Ntsako’s eyes narrowed slightly to the point of ruining his “good boy” image. His expression was even more surprising as of in the start of the pursuit, he remained calm. His actions were logical, but daring at the same time. Despite that, he was previously unaware of who wanted to harm him and for what reason. Well, being attacked by low life thugs was an unwanted norm in these streets, though their intention was simple, financial gain. Ntsako was washed over by malice and grew a crazed look for overwhelming violence. Simply, he was angry as this point. “Shouldn’t we go after them?” “No. They won’t come back for round two. Still this place will probably be swarmed by people.” “We did make a racket.” “I am more concerned about you.” *** Class 12-C dormitory building, 22:57 PM. “And, what was that?” Miraculously, Inoyva, Ntsako and Ripfumelo reached to their respective dorm building without further pursuit. To their surprise, the number of people in the dorm was lowe
