011: The other human
'There is another human?' the question was still hanging in the air, while Corey subconsciously rocked the little girl in his arms, back and forth. He thought he was the only human in the game. Although he didn't look human. NewAge: SEE FOR YOURSELF, COREY. SHE ON THE BOTTOM FLOOR, THE DOOR ON THE LEFT.Corey almost wanted to ask NewAge how it got this information, but he rationalized that the ability was glitched as hell. It could do much more than he was currently aware of, and he couldn't wait to break into it and unleash its true potential. For now, he needed to see this human. He first went to the ruined body of the seer, well what was left of it anyways. The drisian laying next to him, only groans his pain. His gut pierced by the bones of the dead man. The only part of him that, shockingly survived, were his eyes. Corey knelt to grab them, placing them in his inventory. He swabs the sticky green blood of the seer off his hand and onto his pants. Corey takes the route NewAge g

012: Unwanted guest
Eleanora had this frown on her face as she arranged a tent big enough for all of them. She had the mind to prepare separate tents, or put the new girl in the sleeping bag alone out for the vultures to feast on her unconscious body, but then Pamela opened her stupid mouth and convinced Corey, that it would be safer for all of them to sleep in the same tent. This way, no one can be kidnapped while the others are asleep. Eleanora hated that it was a good idea. Greta had spit her flames onto a patch of broken twigs, and dry wood that Corey had found. She was his wingman in chopping down trees to make little logs for them to sit on. Her talons provided the necessary sharpness. Pamela on the other hand, had taken a bath in the lake nearby and was watching Eleanora as she worked to get the large tent ready. It was easier to fold into a small wrap, and much harder to untangle and set up. But she wouldn't ask for help. Corey was out in the forest, looking for something they could prepare

013: An idea
Corey awoke first, sneaking out of the tent to go and take a bath in the lake. He got dressed there, before coming back to the camp site. The day was bright and early, yet everyone in his make shift team was fast asleep. Even Greta.NewAge: TIME TO CHECK THE MAP, COREY, WHERE DO WE BEGIN?'That part, I've had alot of time to think about it. We need to find a guild offering quests. If I can get a very high quest, then there's a chance at me being at level ten sooner than later.'NewAge: I LIKE THE IDEA. BUT WHAT GUILD WILL YOU GO TOO? ELEANORA DOESN'T KNOW EVERYWHERE.Corey laughed, but only on the inside. NewAge wanted him to test out the map. So he did, pulling out scroll like map. Making it wasn't easy, he had to crush the eyeballs and spread the pieces out on an empty piece of paper. Then he had to get some ingredients from NewAge to add to it. He waited almost an hour for it to be done. It was worth the hard work. The seer's eye would help in see everywhere in the game. He pulle

014: The mage's training
Eleanora was taking her time, with touching Greta. She closed her fingers when it got to close to grazing the scales, Corey kept pushing her arm. "I don't know if I can do this, Corey. Greta is a great Dane. They have a temper." Her teeth almost clattered with fear, and Corey rolled his eyes. Greta's skin glistens beneath the sun's gaze, as though it bathed her with the heat. She looked at peace. Disrupting the peace of a sleeping dragon is unwise, but he was confident. Eleanora was no where near confident. She had bad memories from the earlier times she tried to wake Greta up, and how it never played out well for her. "Breathe in." Corey places a whispers against the shell of her ear, the mage flushes. Goosebumps erupts all over her skin. She did as he commanded, taking a full gulp of air to fill her lungs. "Now breathe out."She exhaled slowly. Her eyes remained on Greta, and she summoned all the courage to touch the dragon. Her fingers had only landed on one of her scales, and

015- Bonding
"I have an idea on how we can speed up the bond between you and Greta."Eleanora let her shock be known through her face. Her parents had only given her one way all her life. Train constantly with the dragon. Though she had tried that, it just didn't seem to work. The first time she used Greta's fury was on a pack of dragon hunters, and that hadn't been her order. The dragon just went ballistic. It, however, bumped Eleanora up to level five. And she's been stuck there ever since, unable to move up. Greta refused some orders, she counted today as a lucky day for the dragon to have obeyed her. The only time they were ever in sync, is when they were in air, and in battle. But a level five can only do so much. "What other way?""It will involve Pamela, and getting Greta in a bit of danger."The women didn't understand, Corey almost laughed at their faces. They were lost to his words. NewAge: EVEN I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE PLANNED.'I know.' Corey was aware his system was powerful, a

016- Building the bot
Corey sat back with content, and a strange admiration, watching Pamela work on the robot. She didn't ask for help once, not even for him to pass the tools. When eh first read about her, he had thought she was smart. That she was brilliant, and incredibly talented for her to excel this much in her field. He had never thought he would see the missing girl in person, working on a robot. But she was. She looked so in sync with it. Kneeling to add eat piece together, or to melt them over a blow torch. Corey watched her intently, if someone were to attack him now, he'd have a had time looking away. They had to get the robot done before Eleanora returned. Which, seeing how precise Pamela is with the skeleton of the robot, could be a problem. He had time. Alot of it until they had to leave for the home of the sea dwellers. "Corey, do you think people are looking for us?"He was snapped free of his trance once his brain processed the question. He cleared his throat to make sure his voice did

017: Purple in the sky
There are two things Corey comes to notice as Greta pins him to the ground underneath her strong chin. There are little spikes there that poke at his skin, and he could only hope they weren't causing damage to his stomach as he wouldn't be able to know. His lack of notice or care for his pain demolishes the part of his brain that was meant to alert him when he was seriously hurt. One of the things Corey noticed was how his body wasn't built for anything that involved running. He was never an athlete in school. He never engaged in any sport related activity that would cause him to run or sweat. He supposed that would explain why he was so out of shape. The second thing he noticed was how little time he had taken to explore the Lock keeper. The unique environment, he dived deep into planning to win that he had forgotten he wasn't on earth anymore. Instead, a magical land that although it was a bit dangerous, it was different. It had elves, mages, norks, and who knows what other creat

018- Peace
Corey kept searching, telling Greta to fly lower as it seems the spark was no where amongst the clouds. As theu retreated Corey saw something his eyes had missed. A long trail of rainbows leading towards something. This was where the happy child in him drew the line, if he followed the trail, he could get lost and not know his way back. Heck, he had a map but was still new to the game. He would get lost having no way reading the map, or understanding the path to take. And as he thought this through, stilling Greta in the air, he realized he would have to learn to handle some things without NewAge.While the system was by far the best thing he'd gotten in his entire life, new and old. But he couldn't just sit back, make a plan, and let NewAge do all the hard work. That would mean if he ever lost the system, he would be stranded and useless. So Corey, feeling the high of his happiness damper a little, stayed where he was. Mesmerized by the the rainbows. They led further, disappearing

019- A lake side view
The trio made their way to the lake, just standing at the shore waiting for one person to do something. Eleanora whose idea this had been, was finding it difficult to follow through with it. She and Pamela had taken a bath together that morning. They were girl. Growing into pals, and it was natural. It was like she was at a hot spring back in lithua. But with Corey? That was a diff level. Both women had this unspoken attraction to him that made little to no sense. As they didn't even know him well enough to pinpoint what they were attracted too. There's just something in the way he acts, he talk, how he does everything that provides this strange magnetic pull. Pamela was sure that if she could feel it, then so could Eleanora. And she wasn't sure what to do with that information. Corey, noticing the women were rooted to their spots like they feared moving wit trigger a trap wire or something, decided to be the one to take the first step. 'my bandages are waterproof. I don't have to

020: The trip
"We should sing a travel song!" Pamela screeched, after just two minutes of them being in the air. Corey was close to drifting off, it was easy to fall asleep when you're fifty feet high in the air. "A travel song?" He wasn't much of a singer. In fact, Corey couldn't pick a point in his life where he actually sang something. Not even the lyrics to his favorite song. The third trailer for the CLASH of THUNDER game. Unusual for that to be his favorite, but he didn't mind. He loved how the song depicted the struggles of the warriors, and how they all battle for the same thing. Against the same types of enemies, and each other. Like the wars on earth, Corey found the song to perfectly represent what the third arc of the game was going to bring. He related it to his internal struggles with himself and his identity. Like he was clashing against a familiar foe. "Yes, a travel song. The kind you sing on road trips, just to keep everyone from being bored.""I don't sing.""Neither do I." E
