Chapter 121:
Then Tyra exhaled heavily because she too was not sure whether embarking on that quest was really a good idea. She had a lot of doubts in her heart that they would not make it out alive. Imagine them going to the domain of their enemy, the dark lord. And not only that, they will have to enter another place where their magical powers would not be functioning. So if peradventure they succeed in getting to the cave, how are they going to get out because their powers would be of no use and they would not be able to open the portal which had led them there. While she was still deliberating on what decision to make, Elek noticed that she would take forever to make that simple decision, so he said to her. "I am waiting for your response."Then Tyra looked at the soldiers who were still shading blood in the field, and she knew that they needed to do something since it was their destiny to save the empire of Gouna. So she said, "We are going to embark on that quest. We must find out who our en

Then Elek summoned courage and came out of hiding before the soldier got to where they were, and he said while coming. "It's just me, nothing to worry about."And the soldier did not recognize Elek as one who was with the dark lord, so he commanded. "Who are you?!""Come on, I am one of you." Elek answered in pretense."Are you not supposed to be out there in the field fighting with the others?" The soldier asked him, because he had an instinct telling him that Elek was not a dark magician. Then Elek said still in pretense, "You see… you are right, I am to be them, but I fell asleep. I just woke up and was wondering about finding them. But since you say they are already gone, I guess I will just join them right away." Thinking that the soldier would get going since he had said he would join the other dark magicians in the battle front. But the soldier cut his expectations, instead of going away from that spot, he stayed around waiting for him to disappear. As Elek noticed that the sol

Crossing over to the other side, which was the front of the cave where Demi had been held captive for years. Elek and Tyra could not hear the overwhelming sounds which they heard when they were about to cross. So they concluded that the noise was created by the portal and not from that part which they were now standing on.Behold the cave was before them, it looked dark inside, so fright gripped both Elek and Tyra, as to what could be inside the cave. Then Tyra had to try a spell which would create light that would enable to see through the paths which they were about to trend. But the spell did not result in any effect because they were under the dark clouds, causing them to be more of mere men than magics."Hope there is nothing dangerous in there?" Tyra thought out loud. While Elek summoned courage and stepped forward to the mouth of the cave. Therefore Tyra had to reluctantly follow him, but with trembling in her spirit. Elek who was taking the lead was also afraid but he had to c

Chapter 124:
After Elek had passed over to the left part of the cage, he began to hear some conversation, and he concluded it to be the two dark magicians who were with the key to the cage where Demi was locked in. So he thought of how to distract them, so as to separate them from each other. After some period of deep thinking, he returned back to the spot where the cage parted into three routes and at that point. He picked up some stones, and a log of wood. Then he threw the stones in three directions; first was at the path leading to the mouth of the cave, second was at the path leading to the location of the cage which Demi was locked in, which is also the direction of Tyra, and lastly was at the other end which he had not checked out. After making the sounds of attraction, he then hid by the corner of the dark walls of the cave which led to the place where Tyra was with Demi and waited for the dark magicians to come out.The noise of the thrown stones was loud enough that even Tyra and Demi he

When they had come out of the cave, Tyra then asked Demi. "Do you have any idea on who we are going to get out of here?"So Demi, who's head had been facing down all these while then raised her face up to look at the environment which they were in, and after a brief stare around the surrounding, she said looking over to a direction on their right. "Over there! That is our way out of here."Then the three of them continued towards the direction which Demi had pointed out. After a long walk which normally was supposed to be a short one, but because they were helping Demi to walk, it took them longer than supposed. They came to a point which seemed to be blocked by a very large scale which looked more like a mirror."Now what?!" Elek asked Demi as it seemed clear to them that they had come to the end of that path and it was definitely not their way out."Keep walking, don't stop." Demi said."What do you mean?!" Tyra exclaimed in surprise. "Can't you see that the path is blocked? Or are

Chapter 126:
As the sky began to brighten up, there was no more use for lamps. The dark lord and his armies began to approach his base in the city of Babb. They were returning from the battlefront after a very long fight which they were unable to prevail because the soldiers they fought against were far beyond their number and expectation. There was no way for them to break the line and enter Meo, therefore it was proved to the dark lord that the small city really had men of valor. After the long fight in the field without seeing the soldiers of Raia, dark lord Kees also realized that there was a very small probability for Ned and the soldiers he was with to conquer the city. But since he had not returned yet, Kees still had to keep hope alive until Ned returned from fighting.Getting to his base and seeing the alertness of his soldiers who he had asked to secure the base, he could tell that there was something going wrong. As soon as he was welcomed by one of the dark magicians, he did not return

Chapter 227:
Now the dark lord and all that had followed him to walk through the portal began to appear one by one at the front of the cave. Many of them were full of surprises since that was their first time coming there. In fact, ninety-nine percent of them had not been there before, so they looked around, trying to take a good picture of that place. While some of them were still appearing and surveying the place, lord Kees, who was the first to appear there, took a very quick gaze at the place and said, "Over there!!!" As he pointed over to the direction which Elek, Tyra and Demi had taken after coming out of the cave. Then Verona asked him, "What happened?!""They've taken Demi out. But I am sure they are not far." Kees answered her as he led the way and the others followed him."What about the magicians we left to secure this place?" Godric asked because he could not understand how they managed to get away with Demi without encountering the magicians left to watch over the place. He also knew

Since their pursuers were now with them, Demi did not bother to explain anything to Elek and Tyra. As the dark magicians and soldiers attacked them, Demi only said. "Now!!!" And instantly, the white magicians vanished with Elek and Tyra against their will. Therefore the plan of Kees to deceive them was no longer a success."We should go after them." One of the dark magicians suggested. But lord Kees refused her suggestion. "No! They are gone so let them be. Going after them is going into their domain while they are fully alert." And the dark magicians and soldiers were not happy with the response of their leader. "They might have escaped us today, but we will surely get them." Kees assured his followers and then they returned from the forest to re-enforced.Now the white magicians who had fled from the face of contest with Elek and Tyra against their will, appeared in the city of Morga, which was the only city whose armies did not engage in the fight that just ended. They appeared at

Seeing the attention which her words drew, the witch was startled and found it difficult to air her suggestion out. After waiting for some time without hearing anything from her, Craig asked because he really needed every suggestion which would prove his innocence. "What is your idea? We are all waiting to hear them. In short, I earnestly need them."Then the witch had to break her silence, "I think it is best if we show them what happened that day. They should be shown how Greg was killed by Verona.""Wait… are you also saying that Craig is innocent?" Tyra asked the witch, and this was because she was the only one who they seemed to like amongst all the white magicians but for the fact that she was also with Craig, they had not agreed to stay with her."Yes that is what I am saying." The witch answered."How do you intend to show us the cause of his death?" Elek asked the witch again as he was beginning to gain interest in the point which she made. Then Demi answered on her behalf, r

Back in the city of Babb, Verona badges into the courts of the dark lord and says to him after a brief bow. "My lord, there is a problem. Or do I say, we have a problem.""What is it?" Lord Kees asked her in response while he was sitting on his established throne. And she replied, "The last sorcerers had finally reconciled with the other white magicians." "And how is that supposed to be a problem?" Lord Kees asked as if he did not know the consequences of what she had said. Whereas, he was a little bit troubled within him, and the situation because he too has seen and felt it even before Verona came to break the news to him. Then his mistress was so confused as to why he acted that way, she was expecting him to get really troubled because of that news. "My lord, why do you act as though you are troubled. Have you forgotten, or did it not occur to your knowledge that they would start learning more about magic." She paused for a while, took a deep breath, and as Kees was about to say s
